Me too..Whitlock needs more exposure on TV, but he and ESPN don't see eye to eye so we have to read soundbytes like these or wait for Fox to hire him...or is he on their radio network or one of the satillite networks?? I did see some one comment either on You Tube or one of the articles throw in the Imus reference which was a shame. But he made me laugh when he said that this was just a "sweaty pillow fight in shorts and tank tops" Surprised he didn't just say it was a Girls Gone Wild segment...
Cheryl Ford has a torn ACL. She is done for the year. They say the injury did not come as a result of the fight it happened during the game. It is a shame.
Awww Shucks!!!! I think she tore it in the game and aggravated during the fight. Shock would have been hard pressed to win it all this year, Tweety's also playing on a bad ankle and bad toe, too many holes this season, looks like the storm are going to win it all this season, Sue Bird, Lauren Jackson and Swin Cash is solid core to go with the role playing vet Swoopes.
MAN you are just full of rays of sunshines. But you are absolutely right. It would be a miracle for the Shocks to be in the Conference Finals with what you said. Ah well. At least we have the USA basketball and then the NBA later this fall to look forward to.
You mean another shot at Title town is in danger? Pistons fold, Tigers struggle out of the gate & now Shock lose Karla Malone for the season?? Do I have to wear my Red Wing Championship t shirt every weekend? If she tore it or slightly injured during the game, why was she out there in the end snatching rebounds from Parker?? Notice in the tapes that when she fell no one noticed and even Bill was walking away from her. Since they have a month long Olympic break, maybe Tweety will comeback healthy...but in the mean time either Braxton or rookie Tasha Humphrey will have to slide into Fords spot...
Just talk to yourself. Tater does it all the time, and he's pretty much given up playing with Barbies and wearing women's clothes. Sometimes, you just need to be there, for you.
And I thought I was the only Pierson fan here. Brawl, what brawl? People are so sensitive these days. Ironically, Its probably the best thing that could have happened for the WNBA because people are actually talking about the league and may just tune in one of these days. I only hope Mahorn is not thrown under a bus for it. Lisa owes him an apology and also needs to understand that her "mommy" status ends when she puts on that uniform every game.
Shock sign 50-year-old Nancy Lieberman to seven-day contract Finally some good news coming out of the Tuesday's maylai. Shock sign 50-year-old Lieberman to seven-day contract At age 50 I think she kinda hot when she appeared on ESPN last years commentary during the WNBA FINALS
Whitlock got a lot of criticism for his opinions on the IMUS incident so this was a little reference to all their hoopla that surrounded that. He was paraded around the talk show circuit because of it and it was a real dog and pony show. Not an allusion to this causing more IMUS like remarks IMO.
Could it be both? You know, I can think of a certain retired PG who won't be that old for three more years. Unlike his former backcourt mate he looks like he can still play. He has probably lost a few steps, but at least you won't ever see hear him talk about flipping the switch.
Re: Shock sign 50-year-old Nancy Lieberman to seven-day contract Will she even get any minutes? How many rebounds can she grab in Fords absence?
Re: Shock sign 50-year-old Nancy Lieberman to seven-day contract Tune in on ESPN2 at 9:30pm. The ratings is going to shoot through the roof. I cannot wait to see the Bad Girls in action. Yeah that's right I said it. Who wants some?
We lose an All-Star MVP, and to replace her we sign a retired 50 year old......UN-BEE-LEE-VA-BULL!!!!
