I'll tell you one thing. Spree would kick the crap outta any sissies on that bench. He's got an attitude problem. He's nasty. He needs a new hairdo. But he's always been a pure baller. I'd take Spree the minute Evans or Delfino get a hangnail.

He might be a little slower, a little less athletic, but he's been through the wars, he knows the league and he ain't afraid of nobody. Plus, he would be devastating in a backcourt with Hunter. The quiet guys are always carrying a big stick. Which brings me back to Spree! Spree talks a lot. Talking is good. Ever since he choked PJ Carlissimo (who wouldn't want to choke that bearded fool!?) people don't realize how much Spree has changed. He's only blown his cool 6 or 7 times since and no one was touched.
I don't have a problem with a guy getting his money's worth. But what Spree said was just dumb. I never actually heard him say it, I just read it all over the place, so I don't know if he was sincere when he said it, or if he was just being a jerk. Either way, I don't like the guy so I love to bring it up any time I here is name mentioned. Kind of like "Darko" and "Window Tint" are forever joined at the hip for me.... Although, now so is "Really bad porn mustache".
Micro I know you're not serious about Tay. Do you know how much more he could have gotten if he walked? He got 45 mil. over 5 yr. right. As for Spree if we need him we can sign to a 10 day contract. I just didn't like him "shuting it down" last year. Or did he just quit?
Spree in Detroit This is the most ridiculus idea I have heard so far this season. Spree has been a cancer whereever he has played. Why would a team of Detroits makeup want to interject this idiot into its lineup? Sheed had his problems in Portland but nothing compared to the track record of Mr. Spree! Leave well enough alone, we'll be just fine without this distraction.
