We are losing a lot of our guys to FA this year - Stuckey, Villenueva, Billups (probably) and Monroe (RFA). We have no picks (the article states they want to move up in the draft) except second rounders and future picks.

We can forget about trading Smith or Jennings unless we want equally bad pieces in return. Drummond is as off limits as any guy not named Durant or Lebron.

So what does that leave us for trade bait - Jerebko, KCP, Harrellson, Mitchell, Siva, Datome, Bynum and Singler. We might be able to get something for a package of two of Jerebko/KCP/Singler and a future pick but I wouldn't be giving that up for the number 11 this year.

It makes a lot more sense for us to use our $20 odd million in free agency. At least we know that Dumar's greasy hands aren't shelling it out.
