    Right now:

1 - Monroe - (he is the face of the franchise, no matter what you all say)
    2 - Jerebko - (Pure hustle)
3 - Knight - (Yes, He is a point guard and he is going to make mistakes, turnovers, etc, but I have the most faith in him)
4 - Ben Wallace (In his 37 or something like that he is playing with more balls than Daye, Gordon, CV, Stuckey and Maxiell)
5 - Macklin (But I'm sure this is because he is not getting to much time to play..)

Walter the Squirrel (Denver Squirrels) is freaking all-time!
He shot-guns PBR's at center court and touches female patrons in an inappropriate fashion.
He doesn't dunk off of the tramp but he does do some shoddy looking layups that rarely go in.
He's also the best mascot that I've ever seen at knife throwing! ...even when he's got a few drinks in him.

I will go with my top favorites by position (with an eye of potential crossover positions):

PG...None (the teams does not have its Mark Twain, the call of it's leadsman). http://boatsafe.com/nauticalknowhow/marktwain.htm.

SG---Knight. Very uneasy call for me. Is very quick. Needs the latter for his odd 3 pt shooting mechanics. Has a shoot first mentally and very little court awareness on player potentials while they are on the floor and who (from the opposing team) is guarding what ever bad match-up. Being a rookie, I would say that his most important learning experience would be for him to understand the rhythm/flows of players (both his own and the opposition). Much of the latter is PG territory, and I just don't see any depth understanding, by way of everyone's heavy breathing, that thinks he has the mental territory of being the anointed PG of the future. If the latter case holds, then it I would go after Nick Young from the Wizards, who is just going through the motions like Stuckey. Both need a change.

SF---Wilkins. The best athlete on the team. He shows a very heavy court presence on the offensive and defensive end. Yep, he has mileage, but he also can be very stable presence starting and coming off the bench. Much better than Tay. Very, very smooth ballplayer...which means awareness of the current situation and can check his ego away from the stat-line (playing time versus results). The best defensive ballplayer on the team where offensive smoothness can work against you. If I was Frank, I would have a meaningful talk like this:

Frank: I like your presence on both the offensive and defensive side. At 32, you have that pure athleticism which can help us down the road. As the rebuilding process unfolds, I will need help with the 3-4 positions. Can you do it?

Wilkins: Of course... but then, what is the expectation and the giving of opportunities?

Frank: As the winding-down occurs, it could be an opportunity to expand your contract and secure your role on the team.

Wilkins: Since we are talking eye-ball-to-eye-ball, without the tutelage of my agent and your GM; what do you think may my provide me with an essential?

Frank: Well, it won't be money.

Wilkins: True. At 32 and the bottom layer of 854 is from down-under... what else can you do for me?

Frank: As of now...I can only give you more playing time.

Wilkins: That is a very big start. This could be also be a very big battle for you.

    Frank: How so?

Wilkins: You have administrative explanations by certain spokespersons.

Frank: And who might that be?

Wilkins: My dad always referred to it by way of streams into the big river. As a new coach, you will need to show results. Who talks with you on the team?

Frank: Difficult right now. It goes with the territory.

Wilkins: True. Remember this... in all explanations, both on and off the court...I will not be afraid to look you in the eye.

Frank: I will settle for that.

PF---Monroe. Not athletic, not exceptional quick. Will shoot a higher percentage from 10-12 ft range than the bunny 5 footer he has a harder time converting. As he learns more, I expect his numbers will become routine from a higher profile (double-double) when he gets greater space from either side of him. In this, he becomes more dangerous. He has no center and no wing-man who can create at will. His youth is a good thing.

Center---none. It has been said, that this position takes time to develop. This club can not afford a draft choice that is long is gestation. Scouts need to start earning their money.

I'm not sure if this is a ringing endorsement, but I don't dislike Ben Wallace anymore.

    1. Jerebko-Singler: I think Gores should get them to model his Pistons polo shirt. Great potential as a future tandem Halloween costume if they can stick together.
    2. Drummond: The bloom is coming off the rose fast.
    3. Will Bynum: Can't believe I typed that, but he oftentimes seems like the only Piston with legitimate NBA ability i.e shooting off the dribble, dunking or throwing an alley-oop.
    4. The Russian Guy: I like comparing him to Ivan Drago.
    5. Corey Maggette: An underdog's story. I used to get depressed last summer picturing him playing for the Pistons. Now he's my 5th favorite player because I saw him talk to Andre Drummond for 25 seconds last night.

My favorite Piston right now is the one that is bringing the most value to the team. Ben Gordon and his $1,337,931 trade exception.

I can't tell who is more valuable, Gores' tailor/stylist or his photographer.
