What would you consider a successful 2010/11?

Great idea minnow man. I distinctly recall Bill Laimbeer stating a couple months ago that he would take care of that for us. He's kind of senile and lazy so he will need a reminder. Maybe you should PM him. Or maybe we should all send mass pm's to him. I'm sure that he will greatly appreciate the gestures.

1. Ownership (Yes deep pockets)
2. Any sort of direction/identity for the team to follow
3. Monroe can play the 4 spot
4. Clear idea of what JJ and Daye's roles will be going forward
5. Trade Stuckey
6. Joe continues to only need one seat at the games
7. Mrs. D doesn't charge him for the extra seat if he needs more than one

1. Somebody gets a triple double and the fans all get a small order of culry fries from Arbys.

2. Arnie works with Greg Monroe and by the end of the season he can get his leg up the wall as far as JJ.


3. Get rid of the old guys clogging up the lineup.

1. All the home games open with a montage of Piston players placing their legs up on the wall.

Actually, we should archive some of the gems (escape goat, presents in the paint, etc.) somewhere...

IRREGARDLESS, people still wouldn't know what we were talking about.

Success =
1) Stuckey getting 50 mpg at the pg...no backup
2) Summers getting 42.84323 mpg...otherwise, there's no possible way he can develop and we are waisting young talent.
3) Daye and Prince show up to camp 45lbs lighter. We need to see some dedication from those two.
4) Joe D finally grows a pair and trades Ben Wallace for Bo Outlaw.
5) Oh...and the pregame pyro-technics get replaced with ice cannons.
6) Last but not least....TGRH is kept on board, but Gordon, Bynum, and Atkins are moved in order to bring Mateen Cleaves back to the place where he started.

I like this one, but worry that they might suffer a lot of muscle pulls when they're putting their legs up on the wall.

Success...if Direct TV doesn't realize that I am getting League Pass free for the third straight year.

Here are my official wishes for the 2010/11 season!

• As George Blaha once suggested, I would like to see the small curly fry offer upgraded to a Jr. Roast Beef.
• I want the Red, Blue and White (White) to give a Rock-Financial solid effort each and every night.
• More Ben "Just Shoot it Again" Gordon and Charlie "Charlie Says" Villanueva.
• Greg Monroe looks like a fine young chap, so I would like him to play... and perhaps... start?

I also think I'll try my hand at the McDonalds Piston Player of the Game this season... I usually feel rather dandy during broadcasts, so I'd definitely be up for it.

Winning more than you lose is the minimum standard for success.
I think a lot of things would have to be going in the right direction for this to happen and it would be a great learning experience for the young guys.

Also a new owner dedicated to winning in Detroit.

1. Internal player development - guys that are projected to be our "Pistons of the future" get minutes in the present

2. Roster development - players that aren't part of the long-term plan (assuming that there is one) are moved for players/picks/cap space that can help us moving forward

3. Coaching development - Q and his staff run stuff that capitalizes on the strengths of the new guys on the roster; (i.e., younger legs = more up tempo, running some high-post stuff for Greg Monroe)

agree with everything you said.... but would add that a solid new owner is in place with both a long term commitment to winning/spending what it takes and to the city of detroit (or the suburbs as it is now :p)
