Well top 5 i guess..Yeah i agree the NBA is no longer all about DEFENSE..Please i missed the NBA wherein officials allowed the pistons to play hardnose defense...and yeah i guess if MJ is still at his prime he might score 70 points a game coz of new style of officiating nowadays..thats why look why the USA team struggled in the World Basketball Championship? Players in the NBA cant play physical style nowadays..there all there being cuddled by the STERN..C'mon stern this aint no ping-pong.

I say at least third, which would mean that they at least won their division and finished ahead of Lebron and Ben, but behind some Atlantic Division pretender.

This of course is before the so called reseed??

#1 seed is the curse in all sports, just ask last years Pistons, Redwings, Indy Colts, St Louis Cards, and even WNBA ConSun. :swear2::loser:

Come on, fellas, let's not be superstitious. I cannot think of a team in the east that could take the Pistons in a 7 game series, and the worst news is that I cannot think of one that will finish ahead of the Pistons in the regular season.

The good news is that I cannot think of a team that is more capable of breaking the curse.

You are stuck with it. They finish the number one seed.

Well I would like us to get #2 or #3 for the same reasons. However, I can't see how we aren't going to be the #1 seed. I just can't see any of these other teams being able to pull it off. Maybe the Wizards but I don't see Miami doing it without Wade and I don't see Chicago doing it without Nocioni. I'm not sure I think either team could do it with those players, but without them....highly doubtful to me.

I like us at #2 with the Wizards taking all that frontrunner heat. Let Agent Zero have the glory and the limelight he craves so much. I want the hardware for our guys. How I hated watching Miami celebrate in Game 6 of ECF title last year.

I feel they should come out of the east because of the way the east has shaped up. I don't really fear teams with the best record over all. Which team has won it all in the last 5 year that had the #1 seed thoughout?
