Here are my predictions for the months of November, December, and January. Any serious deviation in the minus column means trouble-land. The six month tally in total wins for me is 55.
    November…12-4
    December…9-5
    January…11-4

I dunno but thankfully we're no Knicks fans... check out this response from a Knick fan after hearing about Rose being bought out:
"That's good news boys....DJ! you can't complain about what Zeke has done this season. I simply hope that the changes made will earn us 40+ wins".
Now that there is aspiring for greatness. lol

I'm guessing November isn't going to be the prettiest month. That's a long west coast trip, plus there are lots of games against teams that play the Pistons tough. And I think there is still a fair amount of sorting out to do relative to lineups, rotations, the playbook, how to play defense, etc.

I'll say 9-6 or even 8-7 in November. Then a gradual pickup to winning 75% of games in December and January.

I'm exicted about these guys but, I think this team will do a complete turn around from last year. Start slow and end strong. The next three months I figure they will play .650 ball. They have to know what direction they will be going by Feb. trade deadline. This team needs another big or a for sure back up wing. Davis and Delfino in my book are on trial for the first three months.

Davis(already has a bad hammy not good for a 37 yr old).
Delfino I like very much but has a lot of pressure who knows how he will respond. GO PISTONS!!!!

We win our first 3 games, then it gets real ugly real fast. And then one of two things happens:

Flip panics, plays the starters 52 mpg, is fired a month later, CB buys a house in Denver, Delfino is sent to the NBDL, JMax sets an NBA record for fastest fouling out on 6 straight charges, Sheed gets arrested, Dale gets TAZRed going into the stands, and Tay finally gets hurt for the first time in his career.

Or Flip stays the course, players adjust to each other, the bench develops, Flip and Brahma learn to pass, Delfino learns to shoot, and we win 80% of our games going into the all-star break.

Interesting you and I have them both losing to Washington. I say they lose to the Lakers (on ESPN for a show-boat team) and lose down in Miami although they will have plenty of rest...perhaps too much.

    My total should read 11-4.

With all that nonplus decision making, you still did not answer the question.

I wouldn't be surprised if this team goes 10-5 or 9-6 though. I wouldn't mind losing to Miami this early because it will keep this team under the radar.

After 3 months JMax will be leading the Pistons in:

    Rebounds
    Foul Shots Taken

    D. Davis will still be on the injured list

AJ will be shooting over 70%

There will be fan demands to bring back Big Ben

    Delfino's shooting will still stink

Sheed will be leading the league in technicals

I predict we win more than we lose... and that Wade and Shaq get injured... beyond that the only sure thing is that Lee latches on to another Euro's jock and won't let go no matter how ishty he plays. :^)

    I look at wins and losses in 10's and 1's. Meaning: 10 wins before 10 losses...i.e. ...10-5, 20-9, 30-19, 40-29, which comes to 47-35 at the minumum....

20-9 and 30-19 is 10-10. That's ten wins and ten losses at the same time. Or if you stop counting at 10 wins, then it is 10 losses followed by at least one win.
