I don't think any of these scenarios are going to happen...

Didn't SVG play Lure over Bobo just a few games ago? I think it was the one where Dre was ejected.

That was an experiment only because of the ejection and the Hornets went small with their lineup also, I believe McRoberts was in at Center.

'Van Gundy will never play the midget/softy', should never be uttered. C'mon greenbid13, you're better than that!

    Question:

Why do we pile up centers when we don't use them and play power forwards out of position instead?

I wonder who might be in charge here.

They didn't go small. They had two of Spencer Hawes, Roy Hibbert and Cody Zeller on the floor almost all the time against Lure. McRoberts plays for the Heat now I think.

How much worse could Ellenson be than Leuer? He can't be worse defensively and he's a better 3pt shooter.

He couldn't give you 80% at a minimum of what Leuer does for a lot, lot less?

Why did they need Leuer they have Morris, Harris and Ellenson? That's where SJ's minutes went.

Van Gundy went to the luxury tax line to sign him. That's sick!

Midget/softy is your term, I never said it.

Regarding the C position, I wouldn't want an undersized player there unless he was guarding a McRoberts type, as was the case in Charlotte.

From what I understand Leuer is a pretty good defender and rebounder for such a skinny PF. As for 3 point shooting, the D-League makes it look fairly easy don't it?
I would expect a 19 year old Ellenson to be able to provide more of 40-50% of what Leuer brings currently.. maybe a 20 year old Ellenson could provide that 80%.

    I don't want that either.

The person who gets to decide it. How do they feel?

He hit a clutch 3 Friday night against MN reminiscent of Will Blalock.

Unless Leuer has some sort of foot injury then I don't think he's much of a 3pt shooter. He's done other things, but game after game after game he's missed wide open 3's.

My point is Ellenson would have to be a pretty bad 3pt shooter to be a worse shooter. He's a backup PF.

Ellenson makes 1.3-ish(?) a year. Leuer's $$ is needed elsewhere.

Leuer was decent before coming to the Pistons. The Palace is where good shooters go to die... get repackaged in trades.

Hoping it is some weird Palace mojo that is broken with the move to LCA (Little Ceaser's Arena).

Looks like Winslow is pulling ahead in this battle.
