Ask Aaron: Stanley Johnson and the Pistons; Reggie Jackson's impact
SJ sent to the d-league together with Ellenson and Benny Jay. The Drive will field a strong lineup for tonights game. Detroit Pistons' Stanley Johnson to play in D-League tonight
Stanley is fired up! View: https://twitter.com/iAmSJ/status/807445555941097472
Stanley is steamed.
On the bright side, Stanley has 18 1st half points for the Drive.
The game streamed via Facebook live. I watched parts of the 1st half and Stanley, Benny and Ellenson are all looking good.
Attendance is dismal.
Just wait until they move into Little Caesar's.
Don't be silly, they're going to move to the Palace.
In all seriousness, do they draw a crowd?
I think 3,000 is about the norm.
Yea, but you have a coach that carries Baynes when everyone is convinced he will soon be gone. SVG needs to find playing time for SJ and Ellenson. Getting rid of Baynes now will help. Less than a week now.
Baynes should coach the Drive.
Who cares what everybody is convinced? SVG still can find playing time for SJ and Ellenson without getting rid of Baynes.
It's hard to have more than 9 or 10 guys in a successful NBA rotation. Right now, it is essentially SJ vs. Hilliard for the backup SG spot. Ellenson is better off continuing to play for the Drive unless there are some injuries.
I am not really sure what happened to SJ. I had so high expectations for him. Somehow, somewhere, something is wrong. At the present time I can't put my finger on it. I have my ideas but they might be pure speculations. Ellenson? I like him a lot. But I am patient about him. His time will come.
Except SJ is a SF and not a shooting guard. Big difference in how each position approaches the court. Bench: C--Leuer,Ellenson PF--Ellenson,Morris, Harris SF--SJ, Morris, Harris SG--Hillard, Pope PG--Ish, RJ That is essentially a nine-man rotation.
Leuer and Ellenson are not about to play C in a SVG system. He'll play Boban before either one. Ellenson isn't ready to take on the Leuer role, either. Baynes might be a decent trade chip, but his departure means Boban becomes the 10-15 mpg backup, I guess Ellenson the emergency center.
Separate names with a comma.
