Please don't make it as cut and dry as that, you know as well as I do that there are more variables involved in this that actually have little to do with basketball.
If Bynum were a better player, he'd be starting. Period. But he isn't and just about everyone knows that. I guess you can continue to believe that "politics" plays a bigger role in who plays vs. who doesn't. I'm sure the coaches are more concerned with that than putting the best players on the floor to win games...
Tired argument. There have been and will be many times where a starter goes down and a backup outperforms him. Piston fans are predisposed to skepticism that "Coach knows best" after seeing Tayshaun Prince explode onto the scene when Michael Curry went down at the start of the playoffs a few years back. Is it any different in any workplace? Does the best person for the job really always have the job? Definitely not.
