That 17-0 run by the Knicks midway through the third was a downer....Kuester called one timeout when it got to six, but then poured another 11 straight before a 3 second violation allowed the Pistons to stop the onslaught for about ....3 seconds...

Will-B, Wilcox and CVill spark a Piston 4th qtr run punctuated by a weezy putback slam and the Pistons comeback to win 99-95.

Yea, Bynum and Wilcox were awesome. Kuester gave Stuckey lots of credit for defending Carmelo in the second half.

Carmelo was a punk yet again... got caught on the one thrown elbow but was pretty wild with them numerous times in the 2nd half... Stuckey stood up well

Bynum was great tonight... thats how you react after being sat for a few games, give it your all and make a difference..... and make it hard to be sat by the coach in the next game

Everyone played D as the Pistons held the Knicks to just 1 pt the last 3 and half minutes...a FT by Ama'ri with about 2 and change left and they closed the game on 6-0 run.

They showed the AXE commercial (Do the wash) about three times during crunch time. Does anyone know if they shot an explicit version of that commercial??:)

Just have to use your imagination.

Hey, a bit of Will Bynum, when unscouted and unexpected, ain't bad. We ended up playing just fine D out there with a 3 guard set, and 2 of our most flat footed defenders up front in Wilcox and CV. Probably the last group of guys you would guess to end the game, but this group had it going for much of the 4th and for once staying with the subs worked.

In contrast, Daye subbed for the missing Rip (family matters), giving us a truly tall team. All of Daye, TMAC, and Tay, along with Big Ben and Monroe up front to start the game.

I think Tay got in there some at the end of the game, but most of the 4th was won with Bynum, Gordon, Stuckey, CV, Wilcox.

CV made a bunch of 3's, and Gordon had his shot going - again giving us some pretty potent shooting from the outside off the bench. Daye helped spread the floor even further - while Wilcox uses all that resulting room inside to great advantage. And Stuckey used the space some too to get to the hoop.

Indiana won. Not good for our playoff chances. They beat a good Chicago team in OT.

Two improved players tonight. Well, I will mention CV too. Coming off the bench - and generally playing less minutes these days -seems to have given him some extra pep. Wilcox got an double double in not that many minutes - looking a bit quicker both sides of the floor. And Austin Daye made all 5 of his free throws tonight. Got to like that.

Maybe all this is just a little too little, a little too late, for us to make the playoffs - but they say the Knicks could make some noise in the playoffs - and we just beat a perfectly healthy Knicks team tonight. Darn, if the Pacers had lost tonight - we could be doing at least a bit of dreaming.

Guess we'll just have to dream about something else.
