Tonight, the red, blue and white will try not to get stung as they take on the struggling Hornets, live from the beautiful Palace. John "Clueless" Kuester may once again tweak the starting lineup, replacing Greg Monroe with Charles Villanueva and Richard Hamilton with Ben "Just shoot it again" Gordon.

BREAKING NEWS: Tracy McGrady will start at PG for the injured Rodney Stuckey.

"Mom tacos best food on the planet" - Austin Daye, via Twitter. Though not relevant to our Piston interests, there are not many quotable tweets these days, aside from those reminding us that Michigan is indeed very cold.

I hope BG takes at least 15 shots. The guy has been the definition of passive ever since RIP came back and took the starting spot.

I wouldn't wanna be in Chris Pauls shoes tonight, T-Mac is the starting PG!

Edit: T-Mac Bengo Tay CAS Big Ben seems to be the starting unit. Stuck out with a sore toe and Rip is sick.

That fullcourt pass from Charlie V to Tayshaun deserves its own post! What a sweet setup!

Stuckey missing a game because of a sore big toe?

    Wow, this guy is soft.

We're playing better defense than usual. But we're turning the ball over too much and making blunders in the clutch. It's predictable that we'd be the team that isn't the clutch one down the stretch.

Nice game from Gordon. Eventually, this is what we can expect from him game in game out - in the post Rip era.

Also nice to see Bynum having a game like this - like the old days when he aggressively took it to the rim every time.

At the time of this post, we needed 0.5 seconds of defense to win. B3lieve and you shall receive!

Pistons win thanks to Jason Maxiell's Budweiser play of the game; a steal on the inbound and tomahawk jam! DETermination!

Tayshaun even came close to that elusive triple double. Man, a free order of curly fries would've just hit the spot!

What a play by Max. Max and Bynum had great games. Bengo had a good 2nd half.

    Good win.

Most exciting game of ours I have seen in a long while.... so relieved to get the W.

Max's play at the end, wow! Loved it even though he should have run the clock out as Kelser said, haha

Now if the Hamilton trade rumours are true then we could have a new dawn :)

BG looked like the chicago BG.

New haircut, shaved beard like he had during his best times in Chicago and hit the 3 that tied the game...

Hopefully this isn't the end of these types of performances. Tayshaun was great too, 28, 12, 10 and 3 blocks.

Yeah, but the defense from Bynum helps us none at all.

What if they had caught up with JMAX and fouled him while he was dribbling out the clock? Misses both free throws. Now a two wins it for N.O. He went straight to the hoop and scored the bucket, on instinct. Probably as good a play as you are going to get in that situation.

I liked him attacking the rim instead of dribbling out the clock, just for that reason. The only better thing he could have done would have been to pass to cv who was at the hoop. But thats just nitpickin.
