vs Atlanta Monday October 11th 7:30pm
"Today we welcome the Hawks in our 3rd preseason game. It will be a gametime decision for me as I'm still dealing with a sore right hamstring" - Charlie Villanueva, via Twitter.
hope its streamed somwhere, I would love to see the young fellas play. Unfortunately my nba package only shows regular season games
I can't even find a radio station since 97.1 The Ticket Detroit doesn't seem to work for me. Tell me if you find something but I guess it means NBA.com again. Sigh.
atdhe.net is streaming the radio feed.
Blaha says "Sundays are going to be Fun Days at the Palace."
4-3 Pistons just over a minute in
Chat is open for those who want it!
Crawford misses, ball out of bounds off Pistons
thanks that link is working after some configuration
Be sure to catch George and Rockin' Rick Mahorn calling the game live on the Meijer Radio Network (97.1 FM The Ticket) or for free on NBA.com's Audio League Pass.
I must also report a mysterious head injury involving Austin Daye; though worry not, he is in the care of Mike Abdenour.
A one time 15 pt lead (39-24) has been whittled down to a 3 point halftime lead 55-52 despite Pistons hitting 57% from the floor. Hawks had early turnover issues, but once they got their stuff together were able to close in on the Pistons who had trouble getting stops in the closing minutes.
Also Blaha mentioned in passing that JJ is lost for the season! I guess someone else has probably reported this already?
Pistons shot 56.8% (21-for-37) in the first half en route to a 55-52 halftime lead. The Hawks shot 50%. Both teams have played 9 players so far. No Ike, CV, Summers, McGrady.
Edit: Dre, you beat me to it!
For some reason it none of the available streams works for me nor my fellow countrymen awake so I'll catch Vikes - Jets instead and follow the game on NBA.com. But thanks for the links anyway.
Nice to see Daye starting and Monroe getting alot of minutes.
Seriously? TMac jogs around for one game and that's it for him?
Did we make him take a physical?
We're saving him for the ECF.
Daye's got five fouls playing the four midway thru the 3rd period.
Pistons in a midst of 18-6 run to take a 75-62 lead with less than 3 left in the third. Monroe looking er I mean sounding good but has just picked up his 4th foul.
End of three, Pistons 77- Hawks 62
Is it really possible that our Mariana Trench deep roster is short on players already before the season has started?
