Well, towards the end of the 1st quarter, when the time hits 9:26:53, the date/time will read:

    3.141592653

We all know what that means.

    Joel Anthony is the anti-tank.

Pistons scrapped to the end. Can't fault the effort.

If you look at who are top players were tonight....Spencer Dinwiddie, Joel Anthony, Anthony Tolliver....most casual Internet fans don't even know what team these guys play for....

I think SVG traded for Jackson, because he realized a top 3 pick would help the franchise more than getting knocked out of the first round of the playoffs by the Cavs.

He is the perfect tank piece. We can say he's young and we're giving him a chance, despite the fact that SVG and the analytics know playing this kid lots of minutes is conducive to losing, not winning.

Jackson's play (and personality) is as radioactive and toxic as Josh Smith's was earlier this year.

I will lose a lot of respect for SVG if he overpays Jackson this summer after he pouted his way out of OKC and then underperformed dramatically.

Is the team 1-10 since we got Jackson? I'd much rather let Dinwiddie run free. Sure, the kid has heart. But, for five million dollars I'd take that heart, not fifteen.

Yep Pistons are 1-10 with Reggie and 0-10 since Tay started playing a again. 2-10 Since the all star break. The Pistons were just out hustled tonight. Who's to say that if Drummond had not gone down with the concussion, the Pistons may have had a could have gotten a couple of more defensive stops or offensive boards to win this 90-83..etc??

You hate to pin loss on a couple of plays, but the one when the ball was stripped from Jodie (who had another bad shooting night) and bounced down the court with 2-3 Jazz players hustling the ball and the Pistons watching, turned out to be a free layup for the Jazz. And then with Piston down one, with about 55 seconds left and KCP launched a 3 when probably could have drove straight to the hoop and got a possible and one bucket was another play that a veteran would have played it smarter. Instead a rebound to a Jazz man and then after a couple of passes, Hayward takes it straight to the hoop for a Jam.

Two nights in a row I hung out with Mrs Dre during game time and came home to watch it via DVR. No need to watch tanking games live unless I have nothing else to do.
This one looked like a loss from the beginning...the look on SVG's face during the opening tip off and then when they were called for a 24 second clock violation on their first possession look like a man who missed his bed and couldn't wait to get home from what was a probable season ending chance at any post season play. 10 consecutive losses at a time when they were just a half game from the playoffs and now they are 7 back with 16 left.

I watched the 1st quarter and then switched to condensed format so I didn't see what happened to Drummond. Why did he only get 10 min?

If we didn't have SVG, I'd want Quin Snyder as our coach. He doesn't hold back. I read he called a "silent time-out" a while ago. Didn't say a word during the whole thing, just gave his guys a stare-down.

After Dinwiddie got into the game in the third quarter, I thought he would play out the game, since he clearly out played R. Jackson, who could not lead the pace of the offensive game. When mr. Jackson got into the game, I shocked. After a lazy play, SVG got him out. Clearly no heart, I don't want him on the team after the play.

In fairness to Reggie, it did look like it was going out of bounds. It took a major hustle play by Exum to get the ball before it rolled out of bounds and as soon as Reggie saw Exum running he took off as well.

That being said, I'm not impressed with Jackson. Low efficiency offensive players should not be the highest-paid players on the team.

Widdie looked good. Tolliver looked good...he started taking some mid-rangers and going to the hoop. Not much activity on the forum. I think we are all pretty tired from watching 4 games in 5 days. KCP had Fireflies around his head. I don't really blame Reggie for that play either.

The post Bucket-Man era sadly continues.

Harsh to give him too much for just that play, but he has shown me nothing that thinks he is the player he thinks he is. I would take BJs best game over RJs. BJ changes the game at more important times, and brings his teammates with him.

If we give RJ max then I may be off the SVG train too.

BJ does play with some fire. I haven't seen that from RJ yet.

I listened to the Utah announcers. One would think Gobert invented the lightbulb or the oven ready pizza. It was super annoying.

Admittedly he is pretty skilled and big.
