This is about who you think will win the Spartan-Wolverine game tomorrow.

I believe the Spartans win this one because their defense will key in on Shoelaces forcing him to throw at least 3 [STRIKE]errant[/STRIKE] floaters that will wind up in the hands of the Spartan secondary.

Sorry no prediction on the margin of victory as this will be one of those low scoring affairs.

I read an article that said this game hinges on how well Michigan's offense can perform against the MSU defense. I think Michigan's offense will be fine.

The Spartans have that home field advantage but they won't be able to manipulate the game clock as they have done in the past.

The Wolverines have got rid of the worst football coach in Big 10 history...so coaching equals out.

I think it's time for Michigan to take it rightful place as the dominant college football team in the state.

It will be a close but painful loss for MSU....as painful as when the players tried to hoist George Perles on their shoulders that one time...I'll say 28-24 Michigan.

Tomorrow we shall see who has the better team.

I think U of M has a smarter coach who will make the right calls at the right times.

I think Denard will not choke and step up when it really matters and I think Cousins and the MSU offense will wilt. I agree that it comes down to u of M's offense against the Spartan defense for this reason.

I do not have a lot of faith in the MSU team. They could pummel U of M when they sucked but I haven't seen them beat U of M (or too many people in huge games) when U of M had a decent coach or a decent team.

    I hope I'm wrong.

I do pick the Spartans to win this one. When I break down the teams, by position...the Spartans just seem better. These are always battles which usually include close scores. The teams seem evenly matched in many areas, so Sparty should wrap this one with a 5 point victory...

As a UM fan...I would like to see them win...and they certainly can, but it's not in the cards for today's battle. These Spartans were signifigantly better last year...and I don't think the Wolverines have caught up yet...

Denard Robinson has 134 yards rushing per game...4th in the country. :gun1:

MSU Defense is ranked #1 in the Nation giving up only 173 yards per game....:cold:

    Looks like an epic battle...:)

I am going to go out on a limb here and say that Denard Robinson won't be drafted into the NFL as a QB. :)

His mechanics are horrible. At this point, it is a surprise when he actually completes a pass.

Look out for the Spartans in the second half.

    Half time. Tied 7-7.

    My perspective:

MSU getting some very stupid penalties.

Cousins is actually playing pretty well. He overthrew on a sure touchdown, but otherwise accurate.

Dropped balls by MSU defense and offense.

    Interesting calls by Brady Hoke.

Denard running pretty well but inaccurate.

Both defenses playing pretty well, I think.

    U of m is a 2nd half team.

I love the MSU uniforms. Michigan's surprise Uniforms look nice too.

It's a game of inches and U of M is winning that battle. I think MSU is getting screwed on calls.

Michigan coach seems upset with his QB. Denard is having a bad day passing. MSU WRs unable to catch key passes by the laser master. Michigan fortunately made adjustments to help contain the MSU ground game. Placing an extra down lineman in helps to shore up the wide open gaps that MSU runners were enjoying earlier. If MSU starte catching passes...they'll gain the victory. If Denard or his backup start passing better...than UM has a chance...

No surprise there. Probably will take a while to learn better throwing mechanics.

I give State the edge at home. Look for a big play/throw that gets behind the UM defense.

The 30-mph wind is not going to make for easy long passes for either QB.

Based on that last MSU drive, you're right.

Not only is Robinson a poor passer but when he does complete a pass, he hangs his receivers out to dry by throwing high and allowing defenders to undercut them.

Robinson needs to take the snap and run as his first option....I would not even trust my arm or my receivers at this point and think about passisng.

Also Sparty line on both sides of the ball is better than the Wolverines.\\

That backards pass by Cousins could be the key non-call of the game. An agressive M player could have run it in the other way.

Martin has a decent amount of YACs (yards after catches). :)
