Joe can't. His hands are tied unless we make the playoffs.

Vazquez isn't on the block. Since the return of Gordon, that team has begun to play a whole lot better.

EVERYONE is on the block when you dangle a guy like Charlie Villanueva out there.

They'd be crazy if they put him on the block. We'd have to make them an offer that was tempting.

    Joe D + Stuckey?

Ah what? That is not a trade anyone would jump at.

Per every media Laker lover, Paul Gasoft is available... the Lakers might take Stuckey and Tay for him...

I'd do that trade. Either that or Stuckey/CV/JJ.

I don't want Gasoft and his rubbish contract. I would rather have Villenueva on the team than the Spaniard who whinges about being relegated to the bench.

Give me Jordan Hill over near everyone on the Lakers team. And Nash

So you don't think Gasol would be an upgrade over Maxiell?

Really, a trade like that (sending Stuckey/Prince or Stuckey/CV) to LA for Gasol has several positives:

1- You dump undesirable players that no longer fit in the system or are blocking the youth development.
2- You get one of the top PFs in the league for a couple of years while you continue to build your youth. Getting Gasol will get the Pistons to the playoffs this year.
3- You end up having an outstanding trade asset ($19M expiring contract) for next season which gives you the chance to be a player around the trade deadline or at the 2014 FA market.

Given the history of the trades LAL pulls, they'll probably get a lot more than what we can offer for Pau Gasol. But, if cupcake calls Joe and makes the offer, it's a no brainer IMO.

BTW, people keep making fun of "Gasoft". That dude plays better defense than any big on the Pistons roster not named Drummond.

But, but... he would impede Charlie V's development.

Everyone's talking about the Lakers trading Pau but D-Ho is the one who will get shipped (to Brooklyn) at the deadline.
    B-Lo for D-Ho.

Lakers vs Nets in the finals this year. :lecturer:

If Gasol were a 4 I would look at trading Monroe for him. He seems to be a C as well although he did win playing next to Bynum.

From swedish papers via estonian news agency: Jerebko is not satisfied how coach treats him and he would like to see Frank fired...hopefully before the next season. Jerebko himself did not say it but his father did.

Why would we trade 2 starters for a bench player?
