With the exception of Lee356, no coach on the planet earth would win 55 games with this roster. John Wooden gets them to play .500 ball, at best.

Come on, now... we all know that each one of us could coach this team up to .600, at least.

I'm not sure. Lee would have to be GM and coach.

As GM he "gets rid of" Singler and Bynum. Incoming are Rodney White and Pepe Sanchez.

Instant upgrade of 10-15 games right there.

Then as far as coaching...he wins an extra 5 games on last minute half court shots.

Proper rotations and rest give us another 10 wins.

Bring in Victor Alexander and Elden Campbell as extra big man coaches for Andre.

Bring in George Irvine as an assistant...that's another 5 wins.

You may be right. I may be crazy. When I looked at this team before the season, I thought that a competent coach would win 45 games with them. The more that I look at this team, the more that I think that a competent coach would win 45 games with them. Carlisle just seems to add 10 wins to any team that he coaches. Maybe I have too much faith in Carlisle.

If you look at Carlisle's first year with the Pistons he had Barros, Jones, and Atkins at point. These are all homeless man's versions of Jennings. What did Carlisle do? He ran his offense through Stack, Corliss, and Cliff; he let his PGs shoot. We could run our offense through Moose and Smith. Carlisle had Stack and Corliss as Go-To guys for the first and second unit, respectively. We could do that with Stuckey and Smith/Moose. My guess is that Carlisle would move Moose to the bench, and use him as a sixth man. This would give him two shot blockers in his starting line up, and a Go-To 2nd unit scorer in Moose. The question would be- Who else does he bring off of the bench? Stuckey, Singler, or KCP? There are benefits to each.

What Carlisle had, and what we currently don't, is veteran players who can shoot, and savvy interior defenders. This team is more talented though, IMO.

No they didn't. Jordan was a 2nd round pick when he was draft at 20, and McGee wasn't even in the league until he was 21, drafted as a mid-late 1st rounder

Really sad that the East sucks with 5 teams at or over .500...and no Pistons on the team.
