Ryan Fields(?) said before the game that Stuckey was going back to Seattle over the break to remodel a house he bought his first year with the Pistons. He originally planned to leave today, but changed it to Friday "because he wanted to spend all day in bed". It seems like he might have already tucked himself in prior to last nights game. I wonder if Pistons0809 will be helping Stuck out with the remodeling? I can't figure out how the Pistons get so many offensive boards. It's not like they move the D that much even when someone like Stuckey is driving and finishing successfully.
Losing to the Craptors like that is embarrassing. Guys like Monroe are just shaking their heads cause they really let these last two slip away. Stuckey hopefully twisted his ankle........and not his ego, as he basically didn't play much for some reason. If he was benched due to effort........I hope he finds his way back for the second half of the season. Nothing worse than a Sulking Slammin Stuckey.............
The continuing emergence of Monroe is pretty fun to watch. The Monroe of the 4th quarter is light years ahead of they guy from last year. I thought is was a pretty bad foul - no attempt to make a basketball play, no attempt to play the ball, just a try at putting a guy into the fourth row. Amir must have blocked about 43 shots but only got credit for two.
I don't disagree with this, I just didn't think he clipped Monroe at his knees when we was 3' in the air as they were indicating. That wouldn't crack Charlie G's top 10 bad fouls since he's been here.
it doesnt take alot for a big fella to blow a wheel when he is running full tilt and clipped.and lets face it, lil bayliss is waist high just standing there so it was near a knee clip. And if he would hurt GM on that play with no attempt at the ball? I would be waiting on his doorstep with my louisville when he got home.
I'll go with this guy................ http://i.cdn.turner.com/si/multimedia/photo_gallery/1005/manute.bol.photos/images/079006087.jpg
Good game. It was important to pick up a couple losses going into the all-star break, especially against the teams setting themselves up higher in the draft. Monster game from Monroe. Gordon and Prince did their parts in slowing the game down and ensuring that the Raptors came away with a W.
