Yup. If the Pistons lose this one Van Gundy might have to anonymously talk to the press so he can blame the players.

In the age of the internet, anonymity isn't needed. Everyone can see where this team succeeds and fails night in and night out.

Blaming the players for a loss is crazy. I think he should blame Hooper and Jerry the security guy.

Casey would be toast on this forum. Apparently he doesn't know it is ALWAYS 100% on the coach.

This is why you need veterans around a young team. Someone has to hold the young guys accountable. When SVG tries to do it, he's a big meanie!

The words of the Raptors’ coach and their healthy All-Star were seconded by veteran forward Tucker, who raked his new team over the coals for a lackadaisical effort that saw Toronto get outscored 14-4 on the fast break, give up 17 second-chance points, and barely compete despite coming off two days of rest at home. From Murphy of Raptors Republic:

“We can’t have efforts like this, we can’t come out and play like this,” P.J. Tucker said after the game. “It’s not about making shots, it’s not about offense, it’s about us having a competitive spirit, coming out and treating all these games like playoff games. We’re trying to place ourselves in good position going into the playoffs and having nights like this can’t happen.” […]

“They wanted this game, we didn’t, period. There’s no two ways around that. They wanted it more than us and they took it,” Tucker said. “A lot of people talked a lot, it was a good conversation, but enough talking.”

If you have a strong stomach, isolate and watch Dre when Toronto has the ball.

Harris is the only reason we're in this game.

When Harris is your best defender, it's time for all of these guys to look in the mirror.

Our offense sucks big time....either they hold on too long or every one wants to take a long range jumper...

If we don't start hitting some FTs, we're going to get blown out.

    Guess who is playing well?

    Baynes.

It's crazy that our bad hands, no vertical backup center is our most consistent player every night.
