You are not a good person.
Well. Have a Coke and a frown.
Have a Coke and a Smyly.
Smyly should have started the 8th in Game 2 in Boston and the 7th here tonight!!!!!!!!
Nice outing for Coke...
If he were asked to pitch to a left handed hitting pitcher, I'd be crossing my fingers.
The bend, don't break bullpen is nerve racking to say the least. Smyly was stress free thankfully.
Even in victory, some of you guys aren't happy.
We won the game...that is the most important thing. I missed the Tigers offensive excitement as I was tied up in some darn presentation. The most excitement I saw today was when Benoit was doing his best Papa Grande interpretation giving up two hits and a run to start the ninth.
Will miss tomorrows game on an all day Road to Hana excursion, so I will be cheering with you all from afar.
Somebody let Prince Fielder know that the post season began 10 days ago. Where do we need to move him in the lineup to get him to at least participate in the scoring?
Those Benoit balls are painful!
Based on the results of game 1, where Sanchez struck out so many Sox with pitches out of the strike zone, i wouldn't be surprised to see them trying to take some pitches on 3-2 counts. In fact, they'll probably try to take more pitches in general tonight. Sanchez was brilliant in the opener by being effectively wild and he commented on how he had above average movement on his pitches. Tonight will be rainy and cold.
Will be interesting to see what type of adjustments the Sox make in their approach. We know that they are well coached and disciplined in this area.
I think that we've missed Rondon a bit so far as a strike out option out of the pen. I'm expecting a good solid 4 innings of relief tonight from us that will be necessary... unless Sanchez can be more Fister like and draw weak contact and ground outs.
Here is a look from Boston's perspective:
Boston Red Sox offense needs a jolt - ESPN
where are you putting them ?
Another Archer fan.
Well, Miggy trying to score on that single is about the stupidest thing I've ever seen. Did the 3B coach really wave him home or did Miggy go on his own? They (the coach and Miggy) have to know he can't run. No guarantee that Infante would have gotten a hit but to end an inning like that is just dumb.
Brookens was somewhat late in putting up the stop sign, but Miggy ran right through it. STUPID BASERUNNING.
I saw the replay. Brookens held up the stop sign, but you're right BL, Miggy had a full head of steam.
This is getting ugly already.
Well, if tonight's game is a slugfest...I hope we take part...at least.
