Just in case anyone wants to talk about whatever game may be on. TONIGHT: Opening Night Tigers at Blue Jays in canadia.
Just finished a plum, some yogurt, an itty bitty ham sandwich and some Paul Newman Strawberry ice tea, Going out to walk after Verlander gets out of this jam and should be back by the end of the third inning and will watch the Tigers until it time for the big game at 6:21 PM ....Got an old Spartan Jersey on too. Will have some doritos, carrots, cherry tomatos and celery sticks at halftime.
2-0 ...see what happens when you walk a batter after two outs.. 4-0.. see what happens when you hit a batter....and you are the tiger ACE
check out the Tigers game. Leyland just pulled his team off the field because Blue Jay fans are littering the field.
Even if they go 0-4, they still have 158 games left to make up the lost ground. It's a long season, my friend. Irregardless, today's loss was rough. What a great outing by Jackson.
thats what we said LAST YEAR...we need to throw out the old LYONS and in with the new PERRY. Same theory with Pistons...WE're NOT winning the world series ANYWAY so play the youngens with TALENT over the VETS with waste. Jeeez, how do sign a guy with a 4.64 ERA in the NL ANYWAY?????
A wasted effort by Jackson because Leyland likes to pull the plug early. Yeah he gave up the homer and then Inge flubbed one, but if that is the case, why didn't he replace Lyons in the 9th after he gave up the homer in the 8th.... Now I know who Curry reminds me of ...the old guy in the Tiger dugout who has let the game pass him. Leyland is the old master at sabotaging a win and Curry is the new expert at doing it.
Great WASTED outing.......our bullpen is going to produce a lot of those this year. Come to think of it we'll be lucky to see many of those from our starters. I knew Jackson was a great pick-up though. Prediction: He'll be our steadiest arm this season.
