I agree he's a bad guy. However he just offered a really interesting tidbit on how the league could easily sway the refs. Ie through the bad call or no call feedback/ "training" leading into a game.

The thing that peek my interest was the "The Dick Bavetta" analogy where he said that the NBA purposely put him in games 6 to assure that there was a game 7. I quickly pulled up the game 6 of the 88 series just to see if Bavetta the ref, but he did work that finals.

Will he become the first basketball HOFer to also earn a Nobel Peace Prize?

NBA is somewhere in between WWF and actual basketball. It is entertainment. The referees are not objective for sure - the mere fact that the notion "you're not gonna get that call on the road" is a reality is proof that the refs aren't objective. The refs call similar plays differently based on who has the ball. A rookie has to "pay his dues" to start getting favorable calls. It's part of the game, and creates entertainment. Is it fair? Probably not. Does it matter? Probably not. The reality is you're not just playing against the competition, but also against whatever narrative provides the better entertainment value. That's what makes it more interesting.

Weirdest set of gifts ever given to a foreign county. 2 autographed generic bball jerseys, 2 scented soap sets, a mermaid jigsaw puzzle, a where's waldo book, and an unautographed copy of the art of the deal.

DRod is a performance artist of some sort.

Or, he is a few fries short of a Happy Meal. Or, is he totally bored and trying to stay relevant.

Crazy attracts crazy. Those guys speak the same language. I bet he and Un put on those jerseys, used the books as door stops to let the air in and are having a cordial conversation while rubbing the scented soap on the mermaid puzzle pieces.

I'm surprised he didn't get a longer look as Secretary of State. How many 20+ rebound games does Tillerson have?

The fact that Rodman got together with Madonna and Carmen Electra should put him at the top of many lists. Pretty sure that T-Rex is a one woman man.

Remember the live broadcasted interview with Rodman and his dream team a few years back when he started ranting about that journalist who was imprisoned had it coming and Kim was the best guy ever? You could see how uncomfortable the rest of the dream team started to become when they realized wtf they where promoting and supporting in live TV but they couldn't say or do anything. That was sweet stuff. My kind of politics.

It was Chris Cuomo conducting the interview for CNN. Chris is an expert at gotcha journalism, but Dennis wasn't having it.
