The snoozer of an NBA season comes down to this. Two pre-ordained teams that were supposed to meet in the Finals do so. Finally the Durant-LeBron showdown can begin.

What's your guess? I'm predicting the first ever 16-0 Playoffs run for the Warriors. That's right, Golden State shall sweep the Cavs.

I honestly cannot decide who I prefer to win. Normally I would take the Warriors but I really do not want Durant to be rewarded for that pathetic and weak decision to play for the best team in the league. I really don't. They have also become the biggest bandwagon team since the Miami Heat. Casual fans should also not be rewarded for being bandwagon-ass cats.

And how can one root for LeBron and Cleveland to win anything ever?

I predict the winner will be the opposite of whoever Stephen Assclown Smith takes. He is 0-6 in his predictions since 2011.

The Refs won't allow that friend!

They are very good. Even the other guys are good when LBJ is off the court.

I learned to love the front runner during the 90s when I watched the hated Bulls destroy all challengers, after MJ came back from baseball.

I don't like bandwagons or frontrunners, but I do know very good basketball when I see it, and the Cavs play really good hard-nosed Eastern Conference defense in the tradition of the Pistons, Celts and Bulls.

The Cavs defense has been horrible all season (ranked in the 20's) while GSW was top 2.

Cavs defense was good enough last year. LOL

I see this series going anywhere from 4 to 7 games.

If CLE wins it will be because their size gives GS's shooters trouble.

If CLE wins it will be because GS had too many cold streaks, and didn't handle physicality well.

Size isn't everything, despite what @Lee356@Lee356 might have told us.

I see GS in five. GS was slightly better than the Cavs. Then they added Durant. Plus they get the hunger factor. Cavs had the last big meal and GS had to watch them eat. It's been two years for them.

I do see GS having one of those nights where most guys have an off night shooting so I'll give the Cavs a w. Plus the Cavs will probably have a great game 1 seeing how everyone is disrespecting them so they may get two w's. Being from the Buckeye State, I'll be rooting for the Cavs though. Plus the only thing golden about that State was their past. That state has serious head issues. But we won't go there.

What I like about the finals is the lack of big markets.
We haven't heard the sports shills puffing-up about how good or much better for the league a Boston, N.Y, LA. or Chi. matchup would be.
Though GSW is a coastal town, Cavs are mid-America. [as where the Bulls but different context]
Though Cavs are Ohioan :skull: they're closest to Det. Would prefer to see them win again !

Warriors all the way baby. Would love to see Draymond Green get the Finals MVP - he is from Michigan after all. Probably that won't happen if Curry shoots the lights out or Durant out-LeBrons LeBron.

    4-0 Warriors. Book it.

You mean they're finally going to play? It's been so long I'd forgotten who was in the series.

Let the pre-finals debate begin and continue until the Warriors lose a game.....is a 16-0 playoff run better or more impressive than the 73-9 regular record of a season ago?

Two future HOF stars were the center piece of the last 10 finals.....unfortunately in those series, those two never met in them - Kobe and LeBron

No predictions here as you don't know which team will show up flat, intimidated, psyched, over confident, or will suffer a key injury, but I know for certain the champion will win 4 games. :first:

Is Steve Kerr going to be back on the bench? As a former winner of the biggest butt kisser award, I think his coaching could be the difference.
