I think so. I've heard a lot of good things said about Teague but he's never stood out to me watching him play.

My initial thoughts are yes, I agree with you.
Teague might be a better defender but he plays a much more reserved game (which is either good or bad depending on what your team needs). Jennings just "looks" like he's more talented than Teague.

I was interested to see what you guys/gals thought due to the fact that Teague is the very guy that John Hammonds wanted to replace Jennings with. Now that it's all said and done, Jennings and Teague make essentially the same money so I thought this might give us something to discuss in August other than the merits of bacon and when to have a fantasy football draft.

Completely different coach, roster and situation. I'm not so sure.

At least now we have a guy willing to not only jack up shots but make them too. The offense these last years has been........frustratingly dull and ineffective. No matter the negatives, I will always welcome a guy with obvious skill at his position. Knight was solid, but rarely if at all looked like he could ever go for 30 points in a game. Jennings has that ability and as a result the defenses must recognize.

I like the fact that dude recognizes that his career would be better served to be more selective.
The first step to solving a problem is admitting that there IS a problem.

I hopeful that BJ raises his shooting percentage significantly by simply choosing to shoot better shots.
I'm thinking that he might rack up a couple more assists this season passing it to a bunch of guys who shoot high percentage bunnies rather than Monta Ellis.

I'll bet you (almost) anything that this will be the mood in here this year. Ditto for Josh Smith.

People can't help themselves. Have you forgotten all that "bad 3's" (i.e. the ones he missed) that Sheed took?

When you say "almost" anything, what are you excluding from a potential wager?

I think it's funny how Milwaukee was a playoff team last year and we somehow think that hurt Jennings performance and he'll do better here.

Sometimes I can ignore your negativity. Sometimes I can't.

This is a completely new team. 6/7 new guys? We have no idea how they are going to play together. We have a new coach, most of these guys have never played under.

They might be horrible, they might be great they will probably be somewhere in-between. It's a real mistake to assume that the way someone played somewhere else is how they will play here, see Ben Wallace, Ben Gordon, Allen Iverson.

That's not the case at all. Look at who he played with.

Did he have a Josh Smith? Did he have a Chauncey Billups? Was he coached by one of the all time NBA greats?

Did he have a single big man on Monroe's level? Anyone with Drummond's potential?

I like how the Brandon Jennings that has played in the L plays. There is no negativity coming from this keyboard I can assure you.

I want a guy who will shoot the ball. That's why I like Bynum also. I think others here will have a problem with him though if he's not in short shorts impersonating Bob Cousy.

Everything I have written about Jennings on this board has been positive. Every game review.

Scott Skiles was nobody's slouch as an PG, although Mo may be better at relating to players than Scottie

Sanders and Henson are actually pretty good.

But don't confuse the above statements with negativity, I actually like this trade....now.....I think Jennings is a few tweaks away from being REALLY good.

The 2009-10 Bucks (the year Bogut hurt his elbow late in the year) were pretty good. They had some legitimate dark horse buzz entering the playoffs. Jennings was playing really well then.

Scott Skiles is to Mo Cheeks what JJ Reddick is to Ray Allen.

Jennings needs to put on about 10 lb of muscle.
