    Ok.
#1 - I didn't know that, which makes the trade a whole lot different. However, I stand by my point that Stuck is a more talented player than Devin Harris. However, if it facilitated the removal of other deadweight, I would be ok with this.
#2 - Again, didn't realise this. However, his circa 52% 3pt shooting is definitely going to come back to earth, and so is his FG%. Unless of course you think he is going to break a whole bunch of records. Is he better than anything we have. Definitely. So I agree that he should be target, but he ain't the next MJ. Also he might not want to come to motown for less than $12.
#3 - Millsap ain't coming for $8m. I think he is a good player, but do we really want another undersized PF. If we go that route I'd rather for out $15 for JSmith and have a super athletic team.

Millsap can score, pass and defend.
I'm not sure that Joe would put together a transfer for a player like that.

I'd rather have Kenneth Faried than either Millsap or Josh Smith to play at the 3.

I'd rather have Kenneth Faried than almost anyone else in the freaking NBA.
I don't think that there is another player in the league right now that I enjoy watching more than that guy.

He's like a hybrid of Ben Wallace and Dennis Rodman. ...he's Bennis Wallman!

Last night he had a play where he caught a pass in mid-air and ended up shooting an alley-oop-jump-hook over Roy Hibbert. It was an impossible shot and he made it look really easy. That dude is amazing!

Ain't that the bonus! Those dreadlocks would totally neutralize the monstrosity that Kyle Singler calls a haircut.

The great thing about Faried is he can also score and is very active on the offensive end of the floor.

He reminds me more of Rodman than Wallace though.

    Props man!
You were "Faried" before being Faried was cool.

CJ was a big Faried supporter before his draft.

I don't really watch college hoops except at tournament time.
Heck, I attended college for five great years and I barely remember it.

Faried seems to make 12.8 ppg and 10.4 rpg look more like 30&20.

Faried is nice, and that's exactly why a transfer including him just won't happen. Unless of course the team on the other end's colors are purple and gold. :stirthepot:

Thanks for the props, Slow One. How could you not be excited about the all-time leading college rebounder? You don't get that record by not being good enough to get drafted for three years.

With that said, should we have picked him over Brandon Knight? I haven't thought about it, but it's an interesting question.

Ohhh, great question! At the time, we would have been "wasting our pick" for sure, as Kenny F looked to be an early second rounder. He rose to number 22, which still seems like a steal.

I like Brandon Knight, but the best nickname Pistons Nation has come up with is BK 7, based only on his initials and jersey number. Nothing too exciting. Faried has earned the nickname Manimal.

In a sense, I'm glad we didn't pick Faried. He would've never seen minutes at SF, where he's playing now and he'd be buried behind Maxiell and Jerebko. The fact that we didn't pick him is one of the factors that made him the player he is today.

He's playing PF, they have Gallinari playing SF. If you took this team and exchanged Max for Faried.......WOW!
