Who's next? My guess is that one of the four who have performed the worst, Mike Dunleavy, Brian Hill, Eddie Jordan, and George Karl, will not be.
I missed that it was Multi-choice. My other two are Bob Hill in Seattle and Eric Musselman in Sacramento.
The players in pacerville appear to be quitting on cola. 10 losses in a row for a team that was expected to be in at least in the top 5 in the conference. They are still 8th, and Bird has already had trades and gotten rid of the off the court problems, but if they miss the playoffs and finish several games back of that last playoff spot, I think Carlise will be made the scapegoat. I voted for him, and he probably won't be next, but he is probably on the hot seat for a long summer vacation. Same thing with Little Larry in Jersey...
I like Doc Rivers, but he's in a no-win situation...even since Pierce has been back. As for Dunleavy...I never liked him or his kid...long before HackaBen. I think it's the squinty eyes. :nerd2: I didn't vote for cola, but I could easily see him getting the Bird at the end of the season. Larry obviously has the mind set to go for wholesale changes. Not a good GM IMO...he's just trying to cover up his inadequacies in maintaining a tight ship. EDIT...good point zoo...I completely missed that Excuse me while I go put myself on report...
Didn't Dunleavy and Carlisle just recieve expensive new extensions this year? Makes me wonder if they actually will get fired even if management wants them gone . . . .
Rumour on the street is that Terry Porter is going onto teams' interview lists. Also, the Raptors have underpaid Sam Mitchell ($1.6 million a year) and losing him could be a big blow if the Raptors bring in Mark Iavaroni (Suns) as a rookie replacement. Then again, maybe Avery Johnson has made people less wary of rookie head coaches... Larry Brown may be eyeing Maurice Cheeks job. Eric Musselman and Rick Carlisle as well as interim Memphis Coach, Tony Barone are all likely gone, with Mike Woodson and Bob Hill on the hotseat.
