It is a fracture of the distal phalanx on his right thumb. Surgery was successful today. He will wear a splint on the thumb for two weeks and will be re-evaluated at that time.

I was gonna make some weak comment like "I wasn't aware that Stuckey had a shooting hand" but your comedy was far more subtle and effective.

    ...well done sir!

    Weak.

I broke the same bone in my thumb playing basketball.
It was the last game of the season and there was no way I was going to miss the playoffs so I played with the break. We made the final, and went on to win. 3 games with a broken thumb. Nothing I could do to protect it so was just about putting up with the pain.

Sounds like Stuckey doesn't really want that starting SG job enough.

It just depends on which door you are shutting, and with which hand you are closing it with. Think about it for a moment.

Speaking of Stuckey and cars, I wonder if he drives his car with his head down in the same manner that he drives the lane.
If so, I'd hate to see his car insurance premiums.

I heard that Stuckey got home around 2 am and was getting out of the car.
He reached back in to get his 2 pizzas, the box slipped off the seat and
he slammed his thumb in the door because he lost focus.

This just gets funnier. Blaha said Stuckey was caught with the thumb in the door for a while because he had a baby in his other hand. The franchise player juggling a newborn while jumping and howling with half of his teeth gone with the thumb stuck in a car door on the Palace parking lot sounds like something from a cartoon or The Naked Gun series. Piston Baskeeeeetball!

I'd say its the offensive foul hand.

Let's hope it not his autograph signing hand.
The amount of signing he does would put a strain on it.

LOL at all your posts! hahahahah

When I was, what? 7? yeah, maybe 6, 7 years old I got caught mi middle finger (the F U finger) in the gap of the door that forms whit the car, not the side when a normal person gets typically smashed, the other side.. And it didn't broke. Only a black nail for a few weeks (and pain for a few days) ...

2 months ago I got my thumb, (yes, my thumb) with the car, bot only the tip of the thumb. So it was only a few pain for 2 days. I still can't understand how you break it, I mean, i understand it but you have to be with a baby or a pizza in the other hand or something like that..

The real question is: who shut the door?

I kind of forgot he was still on team. Just today I was wondering how Pope was going to work out backing up CB.
