Thoughts? Bulls get an uptempo back up point guard, and a decent scoring 2, while Detroit lands a good young lock down defender.

    Yay, nay?

It depends if you're asking Chicago (nay) or Detroit (yay). :wedgie:

Wow... too early in the season for impossible trades, guys.

1- Why Chicago would NEED Bynum or Stuckey when they have Rose and Hinrich?? They love Hinrich's game.

2- Why would Chicago get rid of Jimmy Butler, who did an unexpected good job in the playoffs and has the character to become really relevant in a team who is aspiring for a championship.

3- Why would they even send us a draft pick with Butler?

If you ask around the league and fans, I guess most of them would say that they prefer Butler on their teams, than Stuckey and Bynum.

It would be great to have a player like Butler here, a good and young perimeter defender. But, even if Chicago wouldn't want Butler anymore, Detroit would have to give more to get him.

Somewhere a Chicago fan is dreaming up an Andre Drummond+1st round pick for Mike Dunleavy trade.

Stuckey has to prove he can come back from his broken thumb before Chicago would trade for him.

I can't even describe how much this trade wouldn't happen.

Firstly, the trade literally cannot happen because the Bulls cannot take on additional salary. We would have to eat up Boozer's contract as well for it to even have a chance of being successful.

Secondly, an elite perimeter defender who showed he can play on the other end as well? The guy is Tony Allen with a jumpshot for <$2m a year. Chicago would be out of their mind to do that trade

I say YES!!! But know full well that that will NEVER happen. I'm thinking.....keep THIS team in tact for a full 2 years (unless a no-brainer comes along), in the summer of 2015 we should have about $10-$12M in cap space to fill whatever minor hole we may have on the team.

We need to see news articles where Chicago is interested in Stuckey.

Maybe after last nights performance at Memphis people are high on Stuckey!

Do you still want to keep this team in tact for a full 2 years?
