If I'm reading the technical foul suspension policy right, fines gradually increase through your 16th tech. For every tech after that you get suspended a game. At Sheed's current rate of complaining he will reach the magic number sometime in the first week of December. After that he will be gone every other game. :yellowprison:

After 32 years I just don't see the man changing. At least not without some professional help. Either the basketball gods change the rule or Sheed be gone.

    What do you think?

If they are going to be free with the T's they should up that limit. Every little thing is a technical.

First lemme say I don't like crybabies. OTOH, Sheed is an emotional player AND is often victimized by bs calls. The rule SUX!

I think the problem will start to heal. Sheed will calm down more, and the refs won't be as strong with this rule as the season goes on.

I see a couple of suspensions in Sheed`s future. However, I see Joe D getting involved and Sheed calming down come playoff time.

If a Sheed explosion and or suspension costs us a playoff game, Sheed will no longer be a Piston.

    Then, who would want him???

If Sheed can't back away we need our other big on the court to step in front of him and make sure his evil bailful stare doesn't reach/kill the Stern %%%%%es!!!

I think he'll be suspended some games, not 25 though. I say around 5 or 6.

If he missies 1/4 of the season then he lose around 3mil in suspended games alone.

Thing is Sheed is not the only guy racking up T's. I doubt this is going to sit very well as the season continues. There is no stat for player techs that I can find but I am sure Sheed is not the only player with 3 techs so far.

I'd say he will miss no more than 2-3 games in the regular season and maybe 1 in the playoffs.

I think he will miss a couple games during the season. I also think this rule to a point is bull. The refs are biased toward Stern's stars who are the poster children of the league. The stars used to carry the league without preferencial treatment. I hate the whinning but you know this will not be enforced fairly.

Yea Lebran is one of the biggest complainers. Have not seen any Cavs games to know how he is doing this year.

I think they've already laxed the Sheed rules some... Been seeing a little more bickering sliding by.

If you've been following it in the papers, everyone from Drew Sharp, to Chris McCoskey to Steven A. Smith has been complaining about it.

The NBA doesn't make moves that are broadly unpopular even if they think it is a good direction to go.

If Sheed goes, Billups should too. Let's tank it and remake the team.
