I don't think his wrist popped out of socked on 70% of his FT attempts....
I wouldn't say that to his face if I were you or he may Twitter block you.
So you are agreeing with me, and going against what seems to be the prevailing view in this forum, that Daye is no scrub?
Only you could read that, and think he was making a case for Daye.
Daye is yesterday's news.
Yesterday's news are part of our starting rotation for atleast 5 more years :P
The promise of Daye has always been so much better than the player Daye.
So you are agreeing that Daye is, in fact, news? And by agreeing that he is news, you are implying that he is newsworthy and therefore capable of starting?
Except when we played him. Then we won games. But apparently draft position trumped getting wins. I will say this once again, if you don't like a player, but that player is capable of helping you win games - play the guy, get the wins, then hope somebody sees the players worth and gives you something in trade. What did we get for Daye? Cap space. Tay? Cap space. Sure, some easily fooled people might have thought we had plans to keep Calderon around? Like maybe we got something back in a trade. What, with Dumars as the GM. We don't get anything back in trades. We just give players away.
I was one of the few Daye supporters here. I had very little problem with him as sharp shooter off the bench. His shooting form is great, especially for his height. The games where Bynum/Daye/Villanueva/and Drummond launched those comebacks were the most entertaining of the year. I don't think Daye is ever going to be a starter in the NBA and I don't even mind that we traded him. But I liked him overall.
So, you think Villanueva should get a contract extension? Interesting.
Tay/Daye for Calderon trade opened the door for Josh Smith signing.
This is important to remember. We basically traded Tay and Daye for Smith. Considering Tay is on the backend of his career and Daye will probably be playing for Hemofarm in 2 seasons, this was a pretty good set of moves on Joe's part, as long as Smith plays to expectations.
Yes, I think it is critical that we lock up CV early before his market value sky rockets.
To all the people criticizing Daye, how successful would you be if your life coach lived in a different state? Sent from the new and improved Tapatalk 2.
