I wonder if Ryan Hollins remembers that night?

Didn't he charge after KG for the Cancer Patient comment, but when there was no chance of actually catching him?

He charged him on Twitter according to this article. This one's a classic.

I don't know what it says about me, but I laugh every time I read this. (My apologies to anyone who's been afflicted with the disease in any way.)
KG said it on the court and this time Twitter held him back.
Tweet says Kevin Garnett called Charlie Villanueva 'cancer patient' - ESPN Boston

Was Stuckey really on the cover of a video game? Was it during a strike?

This was my favorite line from that article:

" Villanueva suffers from alopecia universalis, a medical condition that results in hair loss. The Detroit forward does not have hair on his head."

    That's some ace reporting!

We can debate what was the biggest reason Stuckey didn’t fulfill the promise the organization saw in him: if it was the six coaches in seven years, the fact Stuckey never appeared to want the burden or the pressure of being “The Man” or if the organization was never stable enough with positive influences who would allow Stuckey to grow and flourish.

Or the fact that he wasn't willing or able to pass the ball.

It's been so long that I totally forgot about Stuckey starting against Orlando in the playoffs his second rookie year. I vaguely remember his G5 against BOS the same year.

I thought he had a solid to good year last season.

When I think of the Buffoonery Era, I think of Rip, Tay, and then Stuckey.

A change was needed for both sides, and Stuckey is now in the position where he took far less to go to a Pacers team that appears on the cusp of breaking through in the Eastern Conference.

Took far less? Like he had a choice.

I am glad he is gone. I want to see Bynum leave next.

Maybe stuckey is the reason we had six coaches in seven years.

It's hard not to think of Tay when you think of the era because he coined the phrase.

Rip is a strong presence as well.

I'm glad he's gone too. Never liked him from the start. And Max, I'm with you, please let Bynum be next....

Even if Bynum stays around, he's got to be #4 on the PG depth chart (which would equate to street clothes on game night).

    1. Jennings
    2. Augustin
    3. Dinwiddie
    4. Bynum

Stuck was the first rookie I followed as a full time Pistons fan and I had high hopes for him after those rookie years in the Playoffs.
Unfortunately for him and us, he never lived up to those hopes.
Best thing for him and us now though and I expect we will probably see more consistent play from him in a more established system such as the Pacers.

I read their Rank the East thread dated 7-17 and found that 13 people ranked
the teams 1-8 with nobody giving the Pistons the playoff nod.
One person did rank them 12th...above Milwaukee, Orlando, and Philly.

The Pacer's sign Rodney Stuckey thread was started by Taterhead
    Pacers sign Rodney Stuckey

They not too happy about the signing...:)

Interesting to get other's perspective about our chances.
