    That's a good point Pass. He could probably get a $10 million a year for 5 years now, he might not be able to get it next offseason when he is the 4th or 5th best available PF.

    But these agents are mostly mountebanks and scoundrels. Everyone is a genius in a bull market, it's the people who know how to perform in a bear market that we can call super investors.

    I'm not such a Boozer hater if we can get him in a trade while he's still under his current deal. Swap Rip for him and roll with Booze on a "one-year tryout" basis; making sure that his injury prone bod takes to banana peels and mango extract.

    If it doesn't work out, we're not stuck with him. We can let his deal expire next year and use the cap space to snag somebody else.

    If that's how it's playing out, I kinda like it.

    (I have no idea why Utah would want Rip but...)
