If Cuban doesn't ride Stern on this, he is asleep at the wheel.
Didn't Cuban do something similar with one of his games?

I do remember seeing something similar, but it wasn't done as objectively as this. The most compelling argument to me for why this game wasn't rigged is when he points out all of the calls that would have been easy to massage, but went the opposite way.

As I remember Cuban was as objective. Just not as meticulous as this guy.

ESPN reports that the NBA has released the results of a review of their officiating program.

It turns out they had just one bad guy. That darn Tim Donaghy, a real stinker. But everybody else? They're clean. Clean as a whistle. That's right! Now we can all breathe easy! Looks like we got this whole big ugly crooked mob-connected ref thing just about all wrapped up!

Now listen everybody, the season's about to start, and there's some great official NBA merchandise to buy at the NBA Store right now! Run out and get some of that great stuff and show everyone your NBA Style!!

I feel all the refs of the NBA should be fired or found a body bag. I know that was super harsh but I hate them all. Especially the ones that hate the Pistons. Eddie F. Rush, Louis Grillo, Tony Brothers, Mark Davis, Joe Crawford, Dan Crawford, and Sean Corbin! I want to shoot all the time!!!!! :gun1:

You may have gone too far! :pound:

I'm not a big fan of Violet Palmer either, but I do think that Joe Crawford is the worst. Luckily for the League, there was only one bad apple in the barrel of 59 refs. [where is that little eye-roll smiley?]

LOL if you think that was too far, if you could the things my cuz says about the refs, you would be like OMG! He's crazy about the certain calls and refs. He won't watch a game if any of them or Violet refs. And I hate her...she doesn't like Rip at all.

I went to a game in '05 when Violet was working the game.

After Sheed was whistled for a foul call, he looked over to her (the way he always does after he's called for a foul) and said:

    "Awe! ...c'mon MISS REF!!!"

I didn't think it was a fumble either...his arm was clearly coming forward. It should have been reviewed.

Isiah's work in that Finals is the guttiest, most intense performance I've seen in any sport. The Magic non-call wasn't as big a deal as all the people...they were on the floor before Laimbeer inbounded the ball. The refs should've stopped the game and cleared the court. [sarcasm]Thank you David Stern.[/sarcasm]

yeah i still think they should've reviewed the superbowl play if nothing else...he got hit but kept the ball clenched in his hands and it looked like it could have been a forward pass.

some of the calls were questionable, but I don't think the Steelers got as many calls as the they did vs the Seahawks a few years back at Ford Field. Those were blatant IMO.

This time the refs tried to get it right by reviewing all of the scoring plays, but they should have reviewed that last play too as I think that it was a pass and to call the game over without giving us a chance to see if Warner and Fitzgerald/Breaston could have hooked up with a hail mary with no time on the clock would have ben more exciting than waiting 10 mins to see if Holmes toes were in....

Thought so too. I didn't really care who won, but I don't see how the commentators could act as though it was so obviously a fumble. From what I heard, they also claimed that the play was reviewed, but if so, I don't think I've ever seen a play reviewed so quickly, especially when it determined the Super Bowl winner.
