LOL...the BKN broadcast has just invented the "M.O." on Drummond....constant lapses with only flashes of talent.

Well alright then. I'm not watching this game, I've given up on the Pistons for the season. I thought maybe the G-Mon was having a horrible game.

Hilarious. Have fun on the college team Frank. That was not the right play here.

I think dude knows he's as good as gone. What I'm concerned about right now is if we can bring in a competent replacement.

Sure we can. We just have to be willing to try and not go with the first suit that walks in the door.

    1st...give Laimbeer a call.
2nd...give Phil Jackson a call and MAKE NO OFFERS. Ask him what HE would take to come in.
3rd...hit the bricks and DO SOME HOMEWORK

^I hope you're right, though I still don't think we go for Laimbeer if JD is still at the helm. Regardless, after the recent string of awful, mediocre at best coaches, they need to get this next one right. I think we'll be hearing something pretty soon.

It's a Clippers connection though. Maybe he's going to make a run at Vinny Del Negro?

There's a college coach who's been making waves at SMU by the name of Larry Brown. Isn't this the kind of team he likes to take over? They've got some unfocused talent that he can mold.

It's a win for the Pistons also because they save money by only having to replace the Frank on the office door and stationary.

I love it when opposing broadcasters don't do there homework.
I remember watching an Orlando game earlier this season where the dude labeled Stuckey as a "dead-eyed 3 point shooter". In the same broadcast, the guy stated that "Monroe wasn't a threat to drive as he almost always settles for for the 15 foot jumper".

I'd say that about half the local broadcast teams in the league totally "phone-in" their prep work.
    NBALP really magnifies this.

Zombie movies are all the rage right now.

I'd like to pitch a film treatment where Gores hires Larry Brown.
Cut to a nearby cemetery where Bill Davidson rises from the dead wearing tattered Members Only jacket and slowly 'zombie-walks' back into the Pistons' practice facility to stab LB in the sneaky leaker.
While practicing, both Andre Drummond and Greg Monroe slip on the spilled urine and suffer career ending knee injuries.

    ...Working title: "Leaking Dead"

This is why I love yet hate LP. You get to see why some fans you argue with have no idea what they're talking about. Cleveland was by far the worst I had to listen to this season, the Lakers broadcast was 2nd just for being so dull and uninformed. They are the very definition of navel gazing. MIA is right up there too with that "Kaboom" garbage when anyone hits a 3.

For anyone who doesn't have League Pass. It's basically a crap shoot of what announcing team you'll get...home or away...Pistons or opponent. But, you get to find out which broadcasters are knowledgeable and fair and which ones just have their mouths flapping like Terrance and Phillip. It can be entertaining and informative, yet infuriating.
