You can't look at a sports page without hearing about the game this weekend between the Philadelphia Eagles and the Washington Redskins. Quarterback Donovan McNabb is returning to Philly for the first time since being traded to the Eagles division rival the Washington Redskins. Among other topics, people (and it looks like Vegas), are discussing what kind of reaction he will receive from the notoriously rude and obnoxious Philadelphia fans. So what kind of reception do you think he gets? (Not asking what you think he deserves). P.S. Where are you Rascoe? I hope you aren't with Jimmy Hoffa.
It'll be mostly cheers during intro's, boo's thereafter. Cheers if he screws up, like throwing one of his famous worm burners... I can't freakin wait for this game to start...
No doubt he deserves it, but Philadelphia can be heartless jerks. Once the game begins he is the enemy. But until then I hope they do the right thing. I guess i should have told you guys that you could vote for more than one thing.
Nice standing ovation for McNabb in pre-game introductions, then instant BOOs as soon as he stepped on the field during the game. I'd say that's a perfect response from the fans.
I liked how they went from "Thanks for everything" to "We hate your guts, you're dead to us." as soon as the game started. If only women found closure that quickly.
