You are right. Both teams are playing hard. This game is ugly. It's a war. I hope it doesn't come down to officiating in the end.

    Decent game by Sheed overall.

He should have summoned up more energy for the post though, since it was working and they didn't have many other good options.

Better defense than the refs gave him credit for.

It looks like, From what Doc Rivers said, that Sheed may have played his last game of his career. He played well but was cramping and physicaly exhausted by the end of the game. His notorious lack of conditioning catching up to him.

After the game he goes to the Officials locker room and tries to have a word with Joey and Dan Crawford....maybe to make peace after a turbuent career? Apparenty they didn't speak to him.

I wouldn't say he played great. But he played well indeed, tough interior defense, but as always a little sub-par on the boards, and that was the difference in the game IMO.

KG, one of the best rebounders of his time, had 3 boards! Sheed to me kept a lot of balls away from the Lakers with tips etc.

    Sheed was phenomenal.
When he hit that three with a minute to go to put them within three, I almost came out of my chair.
    God I miss that man......

    Was an amazing shot.

Too bad he fouled out and didn't get a chance to try another... although Rondo's 3 was pretty clutch too.

I wouldn't say great and I definitely would not say phenomenal, but Sheed certainly did his part. I'm glad to see he won't get another ring.

How can you say that? I wanted my man to get another ring more than anything. We weren't in there, so what the hell? Why would you not want him to win?

Bill also kicks dogs and steals candies from small children. Those of us who have battled him for years in fantasy sports know all about his character!

Sorry, I'm not a Sheed fan. He finished his Piston career being lazy, selfish, and he was a quitter. I was glad to see him go.

Were you working the score book for this game also, how did Sheed only get credit for 2 blocks and 0 steals?

I find it funny that their isn't an option of him having a very solid game in a losing effort because that's exactly what happened.

Having Perkins injured almost helped the Celtics win. Sheed scored the first 2 or 3 Celtic possessions and forced the Lakers to guard every Celtic on the court. Glad he played well in his final game.
