Portland Trailblazers Nov. 30th, 3:00 PM TV - FS Detroit HD, NBA TV Radio WDFN 1130 The young and dangerous T`Blazers play their first of a five game east coast swing at the Palace. The Blazers are undefeated at home and 4-6 on the road at the time of this post.
This Blazer team is for real. Lamarcus Aldridge and Brandon Roy will be a handful for the Pistons. If Portland can learn how to win on the road they will be a tough out come playoff time. Were gonna kill 'em. The Fantastic Four will DOMINATE and the Zoo Crew will be UNSTOPPABLE!http://www.pistonsforum.com/images/smilies/fight2.gif
I think we'll win this one by at least 12-16 if we continue to get the zoo crew...Max, Amir, AA, and Stuck at least 18-24 minutes. They seem to rebound well and are rediculously quick at transition from D to O. I like this second unit.
PistonsForum.com Post Game (DET vs TOR - 11/05/08) Sunday PistonsForum.com Post Game (DET vs IND - 10/29/08) Part 1 & 2 Monday
Something to watch for: AI and Blake trying to guard each other man to man. Blake falls over at the littlest of crossovers. They have a very good bench. Afflalo needs to guard Rudy Fernandez, who can score in any way conceivable.
Kwmae is going to need 30 minutes. Sheed closer to 40. Amir and Maxiell only to spell those guys some rest.
LA is soft. He can score but his defense is nothing to talk about. However, he will give Sheed a headache on offense. Rip has to step up on Roy. Batum will likely give Prince trouble. And Kwame needs to show some stones. This is a toss-up. I'm going with a loss. I hope i'm wrong.
This should be a very good game. Portland is very scary. Aldridge is a beast (little Sheed) who plays decent defense with good foot speed for a big guy. Sheed will have his hands full but should win this battle based on his experience and especially if he can shoot those ocassional threes. AI should get his groove on today, he should be able to pick some pockets and drive the paint, just keep on being AI and he should win that battle. Stuckey will be able to keep up with and handle Blake when the bench crew enters the game. Kwame must play like he did when the Pistons played the Lakers. If anyone have watched Portland play this year, Oden sometimes plays as though he is walking in wet cement around the basket, he picks up easy fouls and only had 2 points last game. JMax and AJ should get a lot of playing time today, Portland has a group of gazelles, therefore, we better be ready to run. We may see some Will Bynum today. Tay should be able to handle any of the forwards, Batum is similar to Tay with the long arms, but Tay can win on experience and vet savvy. Pistons by 8.......
We will have go play good perimeter defense because they have excellent shooters (especially wide open). Gotta watch blake and fernandez.
by who???? aldrige doesn't push around anyone, frye is thin, oden is inexperienced...przybilla has some muscle but he's only getting 24 minutes a game. either way this game should be a lot of fun to watch.
