Pistons are playing their 4th game in 5 nights, but so are the Wizards. The Pistons are 3-0 this week, but the Wizards are 0-3, all on the road: they lost at Dallas, at Houston, and at Memphis. Last night at Memphis, Arenas had what must have been the worst game of his career: 1-12 from the floor, 1-5 from the line, only 3 points total for the entire game.

They are back home now. Wiz has been good at home for the past 2 seasons. Hopefully, Arenas would not have a breakout game after that horrific outing last nite.

6 wins in succession, baby??? GO TO WORK, PISTONS!!!

I remember Kamla saying something about Arena's stats being amazing the game after a bad one. Look out...
Hopefully see some more Delfino tonight after his calling out during the week. Seems to be working.

I have a feeling we'll get ambushed in Wash. We travel and they land at home. Gilbert will be pissed.

Pistons win 115-111, a slightly deceptive final score--Pistons had a commanding lead right near the end, but the Wizards went nuts and scored 11 pts in the last minute on a flurry of desperation threes. The first quarter had no defense from anyone, ending with a 35-34 Wizards lead. Pistons bench played great in the second quarter, and the dreadful Wiz bench had them down double digits, but their starters led a comeback in the last 2 minutes to make it close at the half. Then the Wizards fell apart for most of the second half, as the Pistons pulled away with better D and efficient offense.

Pistons had a remarkable night from the FT and 3-pt lines: 11-24 on threes, and 36-40 on FTs! Half of that was Chauncey, 18-19 from the stripe. Tay had a good game, 21 pts on 8-14 from the floor. Rip had 18 on 8-16 from the floor--he missed a lot of Js, but he was great in transition, with at least half his buckets coming on the break. Sheed didn't have a very good game, but Dice was solid off the bench. Wizards had 17 turnovers, as opposed to only 9 for the Pistons.

6 game winning streak! And 4 victories in 5 nights. Not bad at all. Pistons get 4 nights off now, before heading to Miami next Thursday.

Pistons took the Wiz's best shot in the 1st quarter. Pistons were able to hang on and end the quarter with the lead and controlled it from there.

Nice game to watch. Pistons always had an answer throughout the game.

I like the 2 headed center deal with Mohammed/Davis. They compliment each other. Davis brings the enterior D and vereran savy. Any taser jokes?

I like what the box score has to say. Prince getting it done. Dyess, Murray and Delfino contributing. Billups sinking as many FT's as the entire Washington team. Rip his usual self.

Where did they get the energy to hang with the Wiz and score 115?

As is customary for them, the Wizards played no defense whatsoever. The Pistons were mostly getting whatever they wanted on offense.

The bench. Every bench player that played was effective. They played so well that no starter had to play more than 14 minutes in the first half. Come 4th quarter the starters were ready to finish the game.

Yeah it is a good job. This year's wins are actually wins unlike last year. This year everyone is doing a good job, and the players are working hard. Last year the wins piled up on the scoreboard but it didn't help the team truly win. This year the wins are actually wins.

It is really good to see the difference in Sheed between this year and last. He seems very "into" it this year.

And with Rip playing even better, I love watching them. I must say that I am getting tired of Dyce's sick grin when he screws up, though. It is getting very old.

I believe the bench will be better prepared this year; Delfino has put in some good minutes lately. CB just seems like CB in that he controls things well.

I will never tire of watching Rip.

i was surprised how much energy we had. you knew that there wasn't going to be any defense played with both teams playing their 4th in 5 nights, but how well the teams show was surprising. the bench played phenomenal in the 2nd quarter and 5 guys got more than 10 minutes each.

this was a quality, quality win.
