Without Devean George, Shaq and Kobe would be at 1 and 2 rings respectively.

I'm sure Stern doesn't want LeBron getting pelted by batteries. I'm betting they don't play in Cleveland until late next season.

@ darth tater: we, positive fans, believe that detroit pistons is capable of winning some EXHIBITION games, especially vs Miami - I mean, after 0-16 vs miami during regular season we STILL can say "at least we won exhibition game!"

That's why THIS upcoming game is so helluva important to us!!

The pressure will be on the Heat to win this game to prove to everyone that they can play together. They may experiment and see how the chemistry works in the remaining exposition games, but with cameras rolling and the curiosity factor there, I am sure they will try to win this one for the media if not just for themselves.

The only ones feeling pressure to succeed in an exhibition game are the ones that don't matter (since in all likelihood they won't be there once the regular season begins).

Yeah, it may be a media circus since it is newsworthy even when the mighty Lebroz runs out of toilet paper, but the regulars won't care much.
(I don't know why it is newsworthy when the dude runs out of toilet paper since he has so many people around him anyhow to lick his butt clean)!

Do we have a chance to win that game???

    Nets Roster:

    Devin Harris/Jordan Farmar
    Terrance Williams/Anthony Morrow
    Travis Outlaw/Damion James
    Derrick Favors/Yi Jianlian
Brook Lopez/ Johan Petro/ Brian Zoubek

I Think that we should be able to win this game, easily

If Detroit can beat the Miami Heat in this HUGE preseason contest then songs will be sung about it for many years to come. It will surely overshadow anything that happens in the regular season or the playoffs. a David and Goliath type battle. Miami may not recover from it this season. It will always be in the back of their minds.

It will be bigger than the United States beating Russia in hockey in the 1980 Olympics.

We should take a poll on which advertiser does the best job during the game. Just like in the Super Bowl. How much do you guys think that Coke and Pepsi will dish out for a commercial slot?

I can't wait. I wonder how much those tickets are going for? Scalpers are probably cleaning up.

This is going to be even bigger than the famous preseason game when...uhmmm...well...you know, that other one that everyone remembers...I know there were two teams...and...uhmmm...uhmmm...

Do you guys really think we have a chance to win this thing?
