Can't wait!! Put a reminder in my phone for the 30th to buy the tickets. Thinking of buying a new jersey just for the occasion instead of wearing my oversize Hamilton (long story, but was really the only one available at NY NBA store when I visited) but stuck on what to get. Definitely want Wallace 36, but read that's against the terms - guess that's so they can slug you an extra $100 for Hardcourt Classics. Then there's maybe Monroe, BK or Drummond but don't want to go to early on them. JJ might be a safe bet - love his work ethic and think he'll be around for a long time because of it.
Nearly solved my own problem when I saw the Rodman Swingman on the NBA store for $89 - smallest size.... L..... Edit: And an Isiah Thomas Hardcourt Classic too big
Well got my trip sorted out. Anyone any idea about seat prices? I don't have to sit courtside but also don't want to sit all the way back. What does an average seat cost?
Unfortunately not Guidelines for Customization League player names must match current team rosters and the team for which they currently play Retired player names cannot be printed on the team's jersey from which they retired
REMINDER EU FANS: Tickets on sale tomorrow. You can get a reminder sent to you just prior to them going on sale if you want: The O2 - NBA London Live 2013 Otherwise, I will try and remember to come back and post when they do. (I'm a little bit excited)
I think it's awesome how they're marketing this game as: I hope that Europeans don't buy tickets thinking that they're going to see championship level hoops. I could see some pretty intense soccer style hooliganism taking place after people pay their hard-earned euros expecting to see "championship Chauncey" knocking down threes and instead they get Charlie Villanueva bricking line-drive jumpers from the corner. I'm guessing that fan interest in Europe will be marginal for this game given the product on the floor. Del, Rocastle, all you guys; it's time to step-up and get our beloved forum some international airtime. I expect to tune into this one at 4:00am or whenver they're gonna show it to see a bunch of BoT signs with the PF.com logo on 'em! C'mon guys, time for this thing to get some visibility on the world stage!
I'm one day early! My mate just pointed out that on the O2 website that priority tickets are available from 10am GMT time on Wednesday.
In Poland, you have the Ergo arena in Gdansk...the Atlas arena in Lodz, and the Towar arena in Warsaw...nice ham sandwich served there...
Hi all - just a heads up, the tickets for the game are now on pre-sale to members of NBA UK's Facebook group, and their Twitter followers. Given that anyone is allowed to join their Facebook group, or follow them on Twitter (@NBAUK) here is the link: Ticket Purchase
Seems to me that the point of something like this would be showcase a higher level of bball than they would otherwise be able to see live. Not sure that it accomplishes that.
Heh, no chance we see a higher standard of basketball anywhere in England than we see on this night! Have you ever seen any "highlights" from the British Basketball League?
