We really need a PF.com Glossary. It would be essential reading for any new members.

Can't recall who, but is was shortly after I started posting them mid- Carlisle's first season, the 2001-2002 season.

    It may have been BillLaimbeer

PF.com was opened the Sept after we lost to the Spurs.

I have a wiki addon, maybe we will use it next season. I am loathe to add more to the forum that requires maintenance and/or labor but maybe it is time.

A glossary thread would probably do the trick. It's more fun if you have to dig through the semi-jokes anyways.

Because people can't edit old posts, a glossary thread is probably not the best format.

Can't blame you. Much time involved ; but then, you can gain a different perspective on the talent exposed and what is being looked at. You are really looking or should be looking, from three different angles. First, obviously, your team. Second and third options are from the developmental league (growing), and then the beyond-the-border talent (growing). Each of the latter two have different nuisances, and a good deal of their fit depends how some teams look at talent. These secondary, not in-the-big-show arenas, take a special knack for understanding certain talent on what is there, how it had to adapt to it's current team, the player's individual talents and then the over-arching dependency on how the conference is constructed via the ownership/coaching pattern. It is can seem at times, like so many macro-pieces with unrelated parts, that must fit someone's particular puzzle. You can gain some insights about organizational abilities in how they first approach (or many times don't)...the first filling-in of their border puzzle.

Same old Rodney, complete with the "I'm gonna be a leader!!!!!" crap he spouts every year. Get this bum off the team already.

I really think the Leecap dates back to the Detnews forum. I remember a year or two when Lee was posting those recaps and the "slow motion, select camera angle, multiple replay analysis" for the troops in Afghanistan.

I could be wrong, but I feel the Leecap existed as far back as the Chucky Atkins Era.

We can use a thread so that people can post words/definitions which in terms would be added to wiki/any other vehicle.

Yeah, instead of punching the heavy bag at the boxing gym, Stuck just has him running into the heavy bag shoulder-first.

Tried to track down the source of irregardless. This is where my search led me:
    PistonsForum.com

What was the url for the old detnewsforum? Want to plug it in here and see if I can isolate a couple other origins.
