Thanks Lee, I know it takes a lot for you to post an article like that. You're a good person.

I read a similar article in the DetNews this morning. It mentioned that Miami trapped a lot which is what they were saying the Pistons would see a lot of in their team preview on NBA TV.

Zach Lowe of Grantland picked the Pistons to finish 5th in the East this year.

I post any decent writeup of a game I find. The fact that this particular one went on and on about Bynum's excuses ie, hurt, ie team not together long enough, had nothing to do with why I posted the article. Sure, one could say Bynum just can't take responsibility for his total inability to successfully connect with his teammates without continuosly throwing the ball away or putting his teammates in horrible position.

Bynum played a great game all things considered. He was -3 in a 5 point loss, and it's always heroic when someone can play 46+ minutes while being hurt.

In a meaningless preseason game no less.

This was mathematically and logically correct and I thought preseason games where players are playing for their roster are not necessarily meaningless to them.

Bosh is like a 7-time All Star and probably on of the most complete PF/Cs in the game today. Not many centres or PFs can hang with a guy who has such a complete face-up game, as well as being an elite mid range shooter.

I have yet to see Monroe hang with any PF or C.

Got my League Pass and ready to catch some action of the new-look Pistons, starting with today's game. Let's see how our defense does against D-Rose.

:yellowprison: I'm really pissed off that the NBALPBB doesn't do preseason games.

Pope coming in for Singler less than 4 minutes into the quarter.

End of Q1. Bulls getting whatever they want on offense. Rose just blowing by Bynum and still has the quickness to get around our help at the rim. They are making a lot of uncontested mid-range jumpers - little close out.

Offence is very Flip-esque. Lots of long jumpshots. Nothing inside at all. Smith made his first jumper from 17, but since then missed his next 3 jumpers from the same spot - usually 1 pass into the offence. Not pleasing. A bright note is KCP making 2-3 from deep - got himself wide open and nailed them with confidence.

Wow, huge block by Mitchell in transition. That was impressive. Interesting lineup out there at the moment. Drummond, Mitchell, CV, KCP, Bynum

Ugly looking shot chart at the half. Way too many jumpers, but we are getting no penetration from anyone. Bynum is playing very poorly. Siva has seen some extended minutes. Could this mean that Jennings is our most important player?

They went to Dre in the post twice early in the 1Q, both resulted in missed jump hooks. Didn't look too bad, but he was a little far away.

I am a little uncomfortable with Smith's game so far. Nothing inside and settling for all jumpers, sometimes very early in the offence. We didn't play enough through Monroe in the 1Q, but got him more touches in the 2nd. Hasn't been effective when going to the rim against Noah, but has made enough mid-range shots to still be effective.

Rose is abusing our guards, he blows by them even without a screen, putting huge pressure on our D. Their spacing has been great and they've had a lot of wide open shots. I would like to see Cheeks give KCP a run at defending him.
