Looks like Sheed won't have an opportunity to coach then as he is only a player development coach. That said, Cheeks doesn't have a lead assistant because he said he is never going to get ejected. Haha.

The good thing is that all of assistants associated with Frank and Kuester other than John Loyer are gone.

I hope this is the year the team stops jerking Loyer around and gives him a chance to lead the team if Cheeks wife gets sick gets ejected.

Brian Hill went 0-20 when Frank went missing last year and the team still wouldn't give JL a look. Platinum Equity suits!!!

Probably shoulda kept Brian Hill. With an 0-20 mark, he's our tank expert in case we need one............

On the surface, our coaching staff does not look like a buzz saw.

What makes proven mediocrity assisted by a bunch of unknowns not look like a buzz saw?

Lots of teams hire their assistants a week before the season starts.

I'm surprised they didn't announce that Max Von Trapp guy as an assistant earlier after he coached the summer league team.

That might give off a whiff of competence though.

Pretty sure Maz Trakh moonlights as an underground techno DJ in the offseason.
