Re: ***New*** Darth's Fun Trivia game link Cheater!!!
Re: ***New*** Darth's Fun Trivia game link There ya go Tater...I made you not look so bad :D :(
Re: ***New*** Darth's Fun Trivia game link Thanks for your efforts detteam...but now we both look like:nerd2: What does this say about MSU grads???
Re: ***New*** Darth's Fun Trivia game link My question list had six European history questions...obviously not my forte. It got me to re-thinking whether I should try out for Jeopardy. D4E & prof would be shoe-ins for that show...good work gentlemen!
Re: ***New*** Darth's Fun Trivia game link I guess I won't send my son there
Re: ***New*** Darth's Fun Trivia game link Hey! Cut MSU some slack...it wasn't their fault that most of my humanities courses were 8 o'clocks and I fell asleep through most of them
Re: ***New*** Darth's Fun Trivia game link They say that students at Eastern Michigan partied to much... ....well I was there and I must say .... it's twu! it's twu!, and that's our excuse for not being the sharpest knives in the drawer
Re: ***New*** Darth's Fun Trivia game link O.K. How many people are taking these tests more than once. Be Honest!!
Re: ***New*** Darth's Fun Trivia game link Today's topic was History-easier. There are 255 questions possible, so they would need to play the game at least 26 times to see each one at least once. I think we just have some smart cookies in here. Tomorrows topic, literature has over 3,000 questions. There is a way to cheat the system. I knew somebody in the past who did it. He explained it to me, but I didn't fully understand what he was saying. I really didn't have much respect for him "beating the system". I really don't think we need to worry about that in here. If you look at the "Tater Tag" game, everyone has shown integrity and not looked up answers.
Re: ***New*** Darth's Fun Trivia game link LOL! I lost many brain cells at MSU back when it had a massive rep as one of the biggest party universities in the country................hmmmm...what was I saying? ______________Oh yeah...fortunately things are much different now...WAY more competitive...just getting in there now takes much more effort than when I went there. As a side note, MSU raised it's tuition today by 9.6% and Oakland U raised theirs by 13.9% ....both due to cutbacks in state funding in what is one of Michigan's darkoest economic times...historically. Re: ***New*** Darth's Fun Trivia game link Dang when I went to EMU, my tuition costs were about $250 a semester and about $1100 for the room/board so no more than $1600 a year not including books...and we actually learned something back then for much less cost.
Re: ***New*** Darth's Fun Trivia game link Feel free to have your spouse & kids play the game. The more the merrier. Plus, if we can get some third graders playing I might be able to move up in the standings.
Re: ***New*** Darth's Fun Trivia game link 10 for Darth! I like to read.
Re: ***New*** Darth's Fun Trivia game link I love to read. Except I read Russian books.
Re: ***New*** Darth's Fun Trivia game link Maybe they'll have a Tolstoy question next time
Re: ***New*** Darth's Fun Trivia game link As if I am going to know the answer. I was winging the literature class.
Re: ***New*** Darth's Fun Trivia game link I'm not sure getting only questions about Steven King is appropriate for the literature section. Nice man and all, but still... What is the Dark Tower anyway?
Re: ***New*** Darth's Fun Trivia game link I only got one question on the Dark tower series. It's actually seven books long and I read the entire series. I think it took him around 30 years to complete it. I read it over the course of about 13 years. Three were written when I first started it. It's kind of horror/fantasy/western all mixed into one.
Re: ***New*** Darth's Fun Trivia game link I seem to get questions in runs. Yesterday I got four questions about the Cuban missile crisis, one asking for the name of the country where the missiles were, and one asking what showed up in Cuba to cause a crisis - right after the first. Maybe time to move up from the easy level?
Re: ***New*** Darth's Fun Trivia game link I think it all depends on the category. I know some people blew out the history questions while others (like me) really struggled. I did well in literature while others found it challenging. If you guys want, I can move to all "medium/average" difficulty questions in all of the categories. Don't forget next week I'll put in some categories for Canada and/or Australia. Most of us will struggle on those, but it will help the people who hurt by most of the questions in the other categories which have an American bias.I'm trying to level the playing field to keep it interesting and competitive for everyone. I appreciate the feedback!!!! Please keep it coming.
