Preview of our 1st round opponent. Beat them in 2004. Beat them in 2005. See no reason why we can't beat them again in 2006. Maybe they'll get a game out of us in the playoffs. I predict 4-1 to the Stones.

Back to this game, back to back for the Stones. Flip has been using the bench recently and I hope he continue to do so esp after the great game yesterday. Hopefully our starters come out big from the start and build a double digit lead before the bench comes in so that it won't be 'struggle win' for us. Rip has been playing A.I great defensively and I hope Hunter will get the job done too when Rip needs a breather, knowing A.I will probably play 40+ min. Would be nice to see both Delf and Mo check Korver too. Hope to see plenty of bench minutes. I believe they can get it done.

    LET's GO, DETROIT BASKETBALL!!!

The switch was obviously in the on position last night, it will be interesting to see if someone flips it off tonight. Don`t sleep on the 76`ers. They are in danger of slipping out of that 8th spot - Da Bulls are right on their heels.

AI is capable of a win by himself, especially catching the Pistons on a back 2back, after an emotional win. I too would love to see the bench get plenty of action tonight. The combination of Lindsey, Delfino, and Dyess on the floor with two starters is impressive.

I read a quote from CB in today`s USA TODAY, where he said, "the team plays better when he is aggressive", I hope he keeps that in mind going forward!

It will be close but the Pistons should prevail.

It's a classic schedule loss/letdown game, but we own the Sixers too much for that to mean anything more than maybe just a single-digit win.

CWebb is back in a big way. He's a legit 20/10 player again, the best numbers since before he was injured.

But the Sixpack have lost 6 out of their last 7 while the Pistons come in the polar opposite at 5-1 in their last 6 games.

To make things worse for the Sixpack, they've been shooting a lousy percentage against good defensive teams of late. For a (as Flip would say) volume scoring team, that spells a long night. Philly's been shootin 42.9% from the floor in the last 10 while giving up 48.4% shooting to their opponents. Is it any wonder they are 2-8 in those games?

I know its a back to back and an emotional drop from last nights contest, but to keep everyone on the bandwagon, they have to play them like this is game 1 of their potential first round playoff game and not give these guys false hope that they can beat us.

That means don't come out flat thinking that they turn it on in the 4th quarter to win. Sheed cannot take the day off in front of his family and friends. Put them away early and let the scrubs get some practice with each other and the starters.

Just avoid the let down thoery and the Pistons should be fine this game. Philly will come out to play for their playoffs lives but it will be enough for a few qrts.

I see the pistons winning 94-86

Kept their enemies close and then opened the 4th on a big run and cruised home. Relied to much on the 3 ball (6-22), but did put up 40 points in the paint and converted several Philly turns into points. 18 offensive boards helped us in the second chance points.

We opened game on a nice offensive run, as the sixers committed 6 TO's in the first six minutes. However we didn't take advantage and let them back in game before the qtr was over. I don't think they ever got any closer than 2 points the rest of the way. Dice is in top form and hopefully ready for the playoffs. Hunter had a good game to, with Delfino, Evans, and Delk providing filler minutes.

Undefeated in the red uniforms now (8-0) and we sent a message to the sixers that we can toy with them now and in the playoffs and still win.

Webber throws up some nasty junk. Just think how bad he will look in the Playoffs when we are really guarding him.

It's just not a good combination of players on the Sixers. They are all OK, but not together. I can't really imagine AI winning while he is THE man.

Dyss is awesome right now. He would start on most teams. Delfino just doesn't show the consistent shooting to get big minutes in the playoffs. He will be a fine player one day but for now, a spot defensive specialist early in the game. Late, he just won't get the calls from the ref.

Iverson should be a big mvp candidate. Why? because he's leading a BS team to the playoffs. When Allen went out because of foul trouble in the last 2 minutes of the third I saw our lead go from 2-10. If it wasn't for him philly is worse than atlanta (thats not a joke).

I'd say you'd have a point if this dude's team was at least a .500 ballclub. In my opinion that is a prerequisite. At the bare minimum, you have to be responsible for your team having a winning season otherwise you can be interpreted as part of the problem.

I've always really liked Iverson, both for his play and for just watching him grow up in public over the years. In the rankings I did, he was a legitimate candiate especially if you omitted team winning percentage (ended up ranking 7th).

He ranked 6th in the league in production by my scoring, and 9th in share of team production.

I just checked out the gameflow and Lindsay was tops with +13.

He really adds another dimension to the team when he's playing well.
