Would this team be competing without the shot clock and three point line?
Yes, and they would be playing in black and white.
Here is a picture of Woody's team:
Please please please please tell me that is real. Otherwise you have made me a very unhappy kangaroo.
Damn! I always thought Panda was a freakin' kangaroo!
Steve Nash Steve Kerr Craig Hodges Kyle Korver Wilt Chaimberlain
All-defensive team: Bill Walton Bill Russell Dave Debusschere Tom Gola Joe Dumars Not bad on the O either. All could shoot free-throws All-HYPE team. Because they get all the INK. Chaimberlain "Big E" Bird Jordan Magic All LEFT-OVER team Olajuwon Barkley LeBron James Oscar Robertson Isaiah All FIVE-BALL team. Because ONE ball isn't enough. AI Kobe Melo Maravich Jabbar
I thought about him. I think MJ and Kobe had more expansive games.
All-D is an interesting area.. (I'm not even going to attempt to understand your other areas) I'd have to think about it.. I'd probably go.. C: Russell PF: Rodman SF: Bruce Bowen? SG: Dumars PG: Payton If they were going all-out on D, LeBron and MJ probably make it.
I would take Jordan over Dumars on defense.
This was my all-never-won-a-championship team, if anyone wondered...
My all-defensive team: Dikembe Mutombo (4x DPOY, 2nd all-time in blocks) Ben Wallace (4x DPOY) Dennis Rodman (2x DPOY) Sidney Moncrief (2x DPOY) Michael Jordan (1x DPOY, 3rd all-time in steals)
Come on. Rodman at the 3?
Rodman guarded Jordan at the 2.
Thomas at point. Rodney White at shooting guard. Rodman at small forward. Salley at power forward. Howard at center. Thomas was a very underrated defender, but extremely good at defense when he put his mind to it. Rodney White could shut down points to power forwards. So could Rodman, and Rodman's rebounds would really cement this unit. Salley was a whirlwind around the basket, and Howard is just a solid anchor of the unit giving it plenty of strength and shot blocking ability. This unit features 3 excellent perimeter defenders, and two excellent inside defenders. For scoring, Salley and Rodman are just in for defense, but Thomas, White, and Howard would score plenty.
Good call on Mutumbo I forgot about him
Rodman played some SF in his early years in the NBA. I already have Mutombo and Ben Wallace on the front line. Do you think I honestly need any more beef up front?
I'd take the Ice Man over Kobe every day....
