I'm on the Vick train. New sheriff in town and new schemes tailored to players strengths.

I'm very encouraged by what I've seen...and Im normally pessimistic. They could win 6. Or they could win 10. Likely something in between. They are taking steps toward healing.

Dollars to donuts they score lots of points. The defense is another animal entirely.

Just like the Lions, the defense will dictate if they win or lose. Both teams should have enough offense.

Actually see the Eagles winning week 1.
They're one of my 10 away teams........
Lions should muster about 13 offensive points.

I'll begrudgingly give the Pats another 6 pts.

Huge eagles win but almost blowing a 33-7 lead leaves a bad taste in the fans mouths.

For 3 quarters they looked like an incredible unstoppable Super Bowl bound team but then they started playing not to lose so of course they nearly did.

But a great division win on enemy turf!!

    Go Eagles!!!!

Jason Avant's fumble late in the 3rd quarter is what started the Washington comeback. Then later he let the onside kick squirt out of his hands but luckily another Eagle secured it for the win. The year Donovan McNabb was traded the Eagles began the season in Washington and at the very end of the game there was a pass right in the breadbasket that popped out and it cost theEagles the game.

The OTHER Michigan guy, a guy the Eagles moved up a few picks to get in the first round instead if drafting Jason Pierre Paul, hasn't done anything of note.

I will agree, however, that Avant normally is known for having really good hands and has made some clutch catches over the years. The jury is still out on Brandon Graham, but they should have drafted Pierre- Paul instead.

Oh (ye) Thee of little faith.

Yes it was one game. But what a game! Vick opened a season like this in Washington a couple years ago and then went down the tubes. I think this may be different. The comments and articles in the Washington Post are classic. They were shocked and brokenhearted over RG threes return.

My nine month old baby Threw up in my wife's ( an Eagle fan) face. I'm proud of him.

Yeah, That was a great game if you like watching cute fuzzy little bunnies get thrown into a cheese grinder.

Funny stuff. I guess even people outside the football world were tweeting about the game.Like Kobe and LeBron. Football fans need to be on notice and excited. But yes, it was only one game. Teams will be better prepared. Although Chip Kelly will come up with new stuff like he did at Oregon. Can you imagine if Jeremy Macklin were healthy?

Eagles players need to be more careful with their comments. DeShawn Jackson was saying people better be in shape when they play us. LeSean McCoy was talking about Jackson and said he's the fastest receiver in the NFL even faster then Mike Wallace and people with talent. These guys are too cocky for me. Add that to the ignorant comments Riley Cooper made and we could have a return to the Vince Young comments.

But that's how these guys roll. Love them or hate them.

They started off three and one last year and ended up winning only one more game. But they will improve this year that's almost for sure. I think they already have. Will they make the playoffs? I really don't know. But it is sure going to be a fun ride. Chip Kelly is not going to stop what he is doing. He may make adjustments but he won't stop.

I'm kind of glad that fourth-quarter happened. I hope they learned their lesson.

Eagles fans all over woke up with a smile on their face. I remembered to hang my flag but forgot to wear my jersey. I guess I will wear it today. Oh, by the way my starter jacket arrived during the game last night. It's beautiful. Too bad it's about 95° here.lol.

The defense is a concern. RG missed lots of open guys.
