Week one: and only 9% of the players at the Picks site, are picking the Eagles against the Packers.

A very ominous start for the Green Machine.

I agree totally with the experts even though it is a home game.

The Eagles are rebuilding although they deny it. It shouldn't take more than a year (assuming the quarterback is as good as the hype says he is). So far Kolb has been crap in the preseason. Mcnabb is probably laughing his butt off right now (although he has his own problems with Washington's crapola team).

Anyhow, I expect a loss because the Packers look awesome. So you can't make fun of me too much because the Packers will humble the Lions on both games this year.

HOWEVER if the Lions knock off the Eagles the next game then I am moving to Siberia because I will be there and even though the Lions are improving it would be a humiliating loss...especially since I abandoned them and also I will be at the game. That will the game that really counts. But I am flying in on the 13th and MAY not have much access to a computer.

Anyhow, I'm sending a shark after you so you best sleep with one eye open Minnow Man.

Let me think on the score a bit. Busy busy work day. My supervisor is a Packer fan and he just told me the Pack is gonna kill us. I couldnt disagree.

It was sad. A few years ago when Herman Moore was on the team J.C. Penny had two full racks of nice Lions Jerseys with players names on them and cool sweatshirts. We bought a jersey for everyone in my family and a few as gifts. I also got a quality sweatshirt for me.

The Lions sucked so all that cool stuff was either $3 or $4. It was pathetic. Even sadder...nobody liked the presents we got them.

Side note. The Lions uniforms. I love the Honolulu Blue color and I love the silver color. But I think those uniforms look weak and kinda ugly. Not real ugly...but not nice. Lame, I guess. I can't figure out why, though. The Lion on the helmet is improved but stupid and ugly.

Except for the stupid play toward the end where he could've danced into the endzone but instead threw into maybe 4 defenders...he played a great 2nd half. Threw some good passes into close coverage and used his feet...looked much better than Kolb before he got clocked.

I couldn't have said it better myself. Totally agree with everything what you observed and stated.

I didn't know the NFL network was free today until halftime of that game, but at least I got to see the 2nd half. They have a lot to correct. Green Bay is an excellent team but McNabb woyld have won that game. But noooooooo...Desean Jackson and other young guys pushed to have him replaced with Kolb who is closer to their age. I ALMOST want to see him fail. Not really, but I will get a little bit of satisfaction if he does. The Philly fans are probably wishing he was back.

Then again, it was only one game and they made some huge changes in their entire roster. Plus they got that rookie Allen from Washington's pick and Allen is awesome in the secondary.

Go Eagles. The flag is still flying in front of my house and will be there for every game!!

I have no problem with the Eagles letting McNabb go...they both needed a change of scenery. But Kolb getting the starting gig over Vick made zero sense to me.
