The Eagles are good but it will take some time for the Eagles to reach the Patriots level of play this year. The Pats already look like Super Bowl contenders even without Brady. The Pats lead the NFL in BOTH the most points scored and least points allowed.

    Pounts for : 92

    Points against :27

Lets compare that to the Eagles numbers...Oh...wait...
I saw the "P" and thought it said "Patriots"...what it said was... "PHILADELPHIA"!!!:dancingparty:

    FLY EAGLES FLY
    ON THE ROAD TO VICTORY...!!!!!!

Do. You know without trying to learn the Eagles fight song I know it? To this very day I don't know the tune or words to the Lions fight song.:cold:

    Forward down the field.
It is the football we will yield.
They will run it down their throats.
They will sew their wild oats.

    Occasionally, we will win.
The Super Bowl is a sin.
Our fans will go home drunk.
    Another loss, we surely stunk.

I'm glad the Eagles are playing well.
I was hoping for this to ease your pain
later on in the Fantasy Football season.

    Alright.

    1. Carson Wentz breaks all kinds of rookie QB records!!

    2. The Jim Schwartz defense has given up only 27 points in three (3) games. Only 3 to the Steelers high octane offense. !!

    3. They gave the Steelers (considered by many to be the best team in the NFL at the time. the biggest butt whooping in almost 40 years!!

    4. The largest +/- differential in the NFL. Plus 86 after only 3 games!! Almost doubling the next best Patriots who are +4!!

Yes, it is only 3 games. Not even 1/4 of the season gone. Still so much can happen. But everyone thought that this was a throwaway year. As of this moment, it could all change tomorrow, but as if this moment, I feel like this team can contend for a top spot...not in the division...but in the NFC!!! And from there??? Please do not wake me up.

@Nemo@Nemo Your boy from Meechigan, Brandon Graham is playing by far his best defense ever and is a monster out there. Especially teamed up with Fletcher Co

After the first two great games by Wentz, the Rams, who passed on him at #1 moved Goff from the #3 QB to #2. If the Minnesota QB does not get hurt, carson Wentz stays on the bench and an unhappy Bradford is the Eagles QB and the Eagles are without a first round draft pick this year. The Eagles play the Vikes soon. They want the Vikes to do well (as long as it doesn't get in the way of the Eagles goals) because the 4th round 2018 pick they acquired can turn into a 2nd rounder.

The undefeated rested Eagles are on an early bye but after that they fly into Detroit for a date with the Lions. Both offenses look really good but right now the Lions defense needs improvement. You never know with the Lions...

I've been wearing my McNabb #5 jersey and hanging my Eagles flag even during the terrible times so people where I live kind of follow and root for them a little (people here like Seattle or maybe Denver). The Wentz jerseys are on backorder until as late as Oct 13th. The people in "Wentzalvania" must be ecstatic. Yeah, please let me dream at least a little bit longer.

The way the Lions looked against a previously winless Chicago Bears team today, I wouldn't be surprised if Philadelphia smokes the Lions by more than 2 touchdowns.

Didn't get to see the game today...Vikings were on instead.

Seems like all the penalties were the undoing of the Eagles today.

Eagles had 13 penalties...over 100 yards. Lions only had 2 penalties.

I was shocked that we won this game. But, it is the NFL--On any Given Sunday.

Philly should be good the rest of the way.

If we can--I know that Philly fans wouldn't mind if we beat Washington and Dallas later this year.

Penalties will and can lose you games, but despite all of the penalties, the Eagles almost won.... Turnovers however are the real killers and those last two, which I believe were the first two of the season for the Eagles were the ultimate undoing and they look at the tapes of those the next two days before preparing for the next game..

We (Philly) lost our mojo sometime in the early bye. We were getting it back in the second half, but those refs! OMG, they freiken killed us.

    Welcome to our world.

We lost the game (at home!) earlier this year vs. the Titans due to some BS calls, one in particular wasn't a holding call that prevented us from getting a game winning TD vs the Titans, which led to us losing by One point.

To say nothing of the BS call that led to the un-timed down last year when Rodgers threw that 60 yard Hail Mary to beat us, or the refs not giving us the touchback when Megatron got the ball batted out of the end zone last year in Seattle, or the picking up the obvious pass interference by Dallas in the Playoff game loss vs them a couple of years ago.

    .
I still feel sick about the game 12 hours later.:nopompom:I'm trying to recall a time I felt this crunchy after an Eagles loss. Every time I buy a damned jersey this happens. It hasn't even arrived yet...although I should check the mail. Donovan goes to the back of the closet. Hello Carson Wentz!

    Don't I know it, brother!!

I just noticed that Detroit will play all 4 NFC East teams this season, so we can help you guys out in tie-breakers, such as record against common opponent.

I admit I have a soft spot for the Lions because of my love for the Pistons. And I have always liked Matthew Stafford. So I will be rooting for them BIG TIME this year when they're playing the NFC teams. It'll be fun!
