The Pistons only did so well today because SVG decided he was going to try to win and didn't play Baynes for the first three quarters.

Then he tried to give back the lead by playing a non NBA player in the 4th quarter. Although, he eventually put in Boban, an actual rebounder.

So SVG's adjustment was to play RJ for shorter bursts and told him to go flat out when he is in.

It can be as simple as changing our pace and attitude.

I think going into next season after Baynes is gone, we'll see Leuer play more center to free up a rotation spot for Henry Ellenson. Leuer and Boban will platoon depending on the matchups.

Ellenson was wearing a suit. I don't think they would let him sit behind the bench if he wasn't dressed.

Yea, we basically saw Reggie start each quarter, play half of it, and then Ish sub in as they each do about 6-minute stints running the show.

Huh? Can you make up your mind?
Your first sentence is a paper tiger.
Can we not all agree, that Ish gets everyone quickly involved and are we not (with him), burning pure aviation fuel and not corn-fed 87 octane?
Come playoff time, Mr. Harris needs to start.
Poor SVG, is forever stuck on the opposite of fuel burning. Right out of the corn fields of Kansas.

I love Harris coming off the bench. He still gets his 30 minutes a game and he gives us a nice balance between starters and reserves.

Be careful here now. Never underestimate how much time is spent on a clean shave.

I wonder how the ladies from down-under will react when they want to grab something?
Shall we instigate a poll...that describes the finger roll through the hair (as number one) or just a grabbing the saddle-horn (bun) and hang-on for dear life (as number two).
Ladies...say and manipulate your choice of preference.

Intellectuals think too much: because they become excessively burdened with truth. They are choking themselves on something that can not be consumed.
...for the time being I gave up writing__there is already too much truth in the world__an over-production which apparently cannot be consumed!

If you've read any Taleb (and why wouldn't you?) then it's a Fat Tony vs Nero Tulip thing.

One knows how to get from A to B, the other knows how to write a 10,000 word dissertation on the optimal path from A and B.

The first one serves a useful purpose, the second can disappear and the world might never notice.

Thats pretty much my report. As you can see, the Pistons sailed to a 30 point lead, without Baynes in the rotation. We do not need Baynes. This is twice now in the past handful of games where we just used Leuer as the backup center - and no sign we missed Baynes. And of course why would we since he can not actually play NBA basketball.

One more thing, Dre got 14 / 14. Still fantastic, no matter how completely expected.

Mr. October still starting, but the rotation was switched up tonight, with Ish coming in earlier, and then Mr. October starting the 2nd quarter, and getting spelled a 2nd time by Ish in the first half.

The Sixers played the entire game without a center. That's why Baynes wasn't needed and partially explains why Drummond played with confidence and success.

Boban was on pace to score 80 points in that game.

Come playoff time, things will move quickly. Problem times are not hesitations that a second half deficient of 15 points will be overcome.
The 1-2 guards will determine the flow.
    Morris and Harris are interchangeable.
Harris is the more acquiescence type of personality to come off the bench...but, if Morris is hot, then Harris rises to the challenge.
The latter will become more aggressive, which makes Morris a better rebounder (and not Leuer). Then Leuer, become dangerous as a shooter which spreads the floor for Dre.
The problem is that SVG has a sole concentration on this yellow-brick road, because it has become a seven player rotation (plus Harris/Ish) and Baynes no longer has fluffy side-hair to rub.
And Johnson is looking for more voodoo head space.
OK, it is what it has become: a reference to a newly found KCP spread that his 25 ft. jump shot as becoming a consistent beard...
That has not yet, understood...traffic patterns.
